Management of Aggressive Behavior
Aggressive behavior in residential settings is a threat to the safety of clients and staff. Often times the signs and clues to impending aggression remain unrecognized until it is too late. Service providers will gain understanding of the multiple causes of aggressive behavior and the tools and techniques to manage it. Exercises and role play are used to help learn effective techniques to defuse violence and maintain safety.

HIV/AIDS TB COURSE-Required Course
This course covers the problem of HIV/AIDS TB in the Adult Residential Facility. Service providers must have a working knowledge of transmission, protection, testing, laws and education for these disease entities. This course satisfies Title 22 Regulation that requires administrators to complete a 4 hour course in AIDS/HIV TB within 6 months of becoming an administrator and every two years.
