HISTORY:
-One year as an exchange student in the USA ignited Søren's love for
music.
-Music came into focus because he was extremely bored being away from his
friends in Denmark and had to do something in his spare time, also because
his "host father" was connected to the American music industry
also sparked interest.
- Back In Denmark Søren
attended business college and worked at a gas station. On of his
colleagues was Claus.
- Soren is the proud owner of Aqua's loudest laugh - and the one who uses
it most frequently. Strangely enough, he is also known for being extremely
grumpy in the mornings. |

HISTORY:
-Grew up dreaming of being a singer and rehearsed frequently in front
of the mirror singing into a hairbrush. Favourites included fellow country
men A-HA and Bobbysox.
-After some time in the service (in the Norwegian army!) Lene went onto
co-host a show on Norwegian TV where she also preformed as a vocalist.
During this period Lene met Rene' in Norway where he worked as a DJ
-Young Lene once made a bonfire in her room in her parent's house in
Norway. Now she is not playing with fire anymore but has instead developed
a special form of touring-amnesia that makes her forget her pet rabbit
Banderas in hotel rooms all over the world. |

HISTORY:
-Worked as a DJ before he met Claus and Soren and AQUA was born. Prior
to that, he wanted to be a chef and worked as an apprentice on a ship, and
was sailing the Seven seas until the working hours made him quit.
- Nevertheless, Rene' is a skilled chef and he loves to cook for his
fellow band members when in the studio, on holidays or just having a few
days off. He even sneaked down to the hotel kitchen in order to make meatballs
while on a promotional visit in Australia
-He is considered the impatient one in AQUA by his colleagues. Rene' wants
things done - NOW! |

June 5th 1970 in Denmark

HISTORY:
-Was a great fan of electronic pop icons such as Depeche Mode, Howard
Jones, Kraftwerk, among others during his teenage years in the 1980's.
After high school Claus worked at a gas station, where he met Søren.
-After a year, Claus decided to become a chemical engineer and studied for
three and a half years. But music got in the way and after these and a
half years Claus decided to take a little break away from the books. Soon,
he and the university's management agreed that it wasn't necessary for him
to attend lectures anymore.
- Claus often comes across as the quiet AQUA member. but those who know
the band can testify that he is also the one who often cracks Everyone up
with his wry comments. He is usually seen with a remote control for a TV, stereo
or some other electronic device in hand. |
