Dragon Half

Dragon Half is a very short series about a girl who is half dragon, half human. As the story goes, her father, a valliant knight, set out to kil her mother, a fearsome dragon. Except, upon seeing each other, they fell madly in love. Her mother changed to her human form and lived with him, having Mink, their daughter. Now they...well, hate may be a little strong, but they fight constantly. Mink, being the main character, decides to go for adventure. I think there was an actual reason she left, but it's been so long, I can't remember.

Along the way, she meets Dick, a young prince trying to find a dragon so he can slay it. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but they sort of fall in love, don't they? It really had been a LONG time since I've seen this show.

Dick has very strange eyes, even for the cutsey art style. This is because his mother is really a blob. Yes, a blob. One day was the king was wandering about, she saw him and fell in love (are you seeing the theme behind this show?) with him. But she was a blob and he was a human. But she had a magician turn her into a human and the king fell in love with her as well and they had Dick. I believe his mother died in childbirth.

The entire show was a little pointless, but cute all the same. There was a tournament at one point, which Mink and her friends entered to get money to see a concert and Dick entered so he could perform an act of heroism. I really don't remember why it was so important that he did this, but I think it had something to do with his mother.

My memory is really horrid about the show, but it was adorable all the same. Very funny, I remember that. Well worth the watching if you never have. Unfortunately, hardly anyone knows the series. ;_; How sad.
