Ms. Poile is a published author with extensive media experience.
She is also the mother of two, and an active advocate for the
rights of victims.
She majored in Forensic Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice
during her college years, and feels her background helped her re-
search efforts on this book.
Ms. Poile lives in South Dakota, and is part of a large family, a
family she believes is fairly representative of American values.
While working on this book, Ms. Poile came in contact with a wide
assortment of people from diverse backgrounds, races, economic
standings
and political affiliations. The only common thread these
people had was the fact that their loved ones had been murdered.
