Click on http://www.renaissanceconnection.org/, then click on Art Explorer.  Answer the quiz question and continue on Art Explorer again.  You can choose the flash or text version of this website.  The Flash version is always more fun. You can explore by timeline country or alphabetically.  Pick five works of art to learn about and write a reflective essay on this assignment.

2.  Click on http://www.renaissanceconnection.org/, then click on Innovations 1400-2000.  Write a reflective essay on how the Renaissance paved the way for modern day innovations, or create an original lesson plan exploring past and modern day innovations appropriate for your classroom.

3.  Click on http://www.renaissanceconnection.org/, then click on Be a Patron of the Arts.  Write a reflective essay on this experience.

4.  Click on http://www.renaissanceconnection.org/, then click on Lesson Plans.  Follow a lesson plan and scan your original art work as a JPEG, or cut and paste it into a word document.

5.  Click on http://www.renaissanceconnection.org/, then click on Lesson Plans, Social Studies, then  View the lesson on Humanism in the Renaissance.  Write a reflective essay on Humanism, or  create a variation to this lesson plan to meet the needs of your students.  

6.  Click on http://www.renaissanceconnection.org/, then click on Lesson Plans. Pick a Theme, and submit an original lesson plan that you can integrate into your curriculum.

7.  Go to http://www.wga.hu/index1.html , then click on Tours.  Go on a virtual tour.  Write a reflective essay on your experience.  This assignment may be repeated three times, with different tours of course.

8.  You are an Renaissance Art Apprentice.  Choose a Master Artist you would like to learn from and render an original work of Art in his style or copy one of the master's pieces from the artist's list at http://www.wga.hu/index1.html. Scan the original art work and send to me as a JPEG or cut and paste it into a word document.  Please make sure you site the work and Master you have used as your teacher.

9.  Got to http://www.wga.hu/index1.html, follow the directions for Dual Mode, listen to Renaissance Music while you search, post a message on the Forum, then send me a Postcard from this site.  Please comment on your experiences in your message.

10. Go to http://www.artcyclopedia.com/.  Look under Art Movements and see The Renaissance is made up of The Early Renaissance, High Renaissance, Mannerism and Northern Renaissance.  Choose to learn about an artist that interests and write about it.

12.  Learn about Raphael Sanzio at http://www.artcyclopedia.com/artists/raphael.html.   Write a reflective essay on your journey. Please site which websites you visited on this quest.

15.  Go to http://www.artcyclopedia.com/.  Look under Art Movements and see The Renaissance is made up of The Early Renaissance, High Renaissance, Mannerism and Northern Renaissance. Compare and contrast these periods of the Renaissance in a reflective essay, or copy, cut and paste your own version of a Renaissance timeline into and e-mail or as a word attachment.

16. Go to http://www.artmuseums.harvard.edu/Renaissance/help.html and learn how to restore a Renaissance painting.  Write about your experience.

17.  Click on http://www.cite-sciences.fr/english/ala_cite/expo/explora/image/mona/en.php# , The Interactive Mona Lisa.  If she could talk, what  would she say?  Create a story or write a social commentary from her point of view.

18.  Go to http://www.studiolo.org/Mona/MONALIST.htm#CONTENTS, wander this site then click on Teacher's Guide.  Write a reflection on the author's thoughts or questions.

19. Go to http://www.monalisamania.com/artmain.htm  and create a Mona Lisa art parody. You may photo editing software or create an original image that you can scan as a JPEG or cut and paste in a word doc.  Here is a Google image search for your downloading convenience, mona lisa - Google Image Search Please remember that if you are using photo-editing software to save your image as a JPEG.  This format is interchangeable  and easily accessed.

20.  View http://www.nga.gov/collection/adoration.htm.  Why did religion play such an important role in Art? Write a reflective essay.
