Virtual Renaissance

 

Graduate Students: will submit a Reflective Journal of Experiences based upon 10 virtual assignments published by the instructor on Assignments Pages 1 and 2. Each reflective journal experience essay should be a page in length. Students will the use the Internet to find and research interactive ways to include the Renaissance Art and Technology into their curriculum.  Students will visit the course web page and select 10 out of a series of creative projects to submit to the instructor as a word attachment, or via e-mail during the duration of the course. The Instructor will correspond with the student as coursework is submitted. Students will write an original Lesson Plan that integrates the Renaissance period into their area of expertise for classroom instruction. The Lesson Plan should be one to two pages in length.  Students will write an original cross-curriculum Renaissance Unit Plan Outline for instructional use in the classroom. The Unit Outline should be two to three pages in length. State and National Learning Standards should be addressed in the Lesson Plan and Unit Outline.

 In short graduate students will submit 12 assignments all together.  This includes in-service requirement plus two additional assignments as stated below.

180-189 points = A-

170-179 points = B+

160-169 points = B
