01/22/01: Thanks to everyone who has written in with feedback and comments on the stories and the site! In response to your input, I've redesigned the links page (again) to make it more user-friendly, and I've added two more chapters to In the Beginning, the chronicles of Anita's youth. Future projects include writing an ending to Death Match.

12/18/00: You may have noticed, I've redesigned the page. {  l o o s e  e n d s  }  is now dedicated solely to my fanfic.

The links are now located on their own page,  {  e v e n  |  o d d s  }. I've also added a few more stories, including an as-yet-unfinished working draft of the final Jinx story
( High Stakes ) for those of you have written asking for more Jinx (thanks for the feedback!). Also new to the page is an in-progress version of Anita's High School years called In the Beginning; and a challenge fic called Trial by Fire which was originally posted on the eGroups LKHFic list.

Dead Words
The trouble starts when Anita gets a call from the cops saying that they’ve recovered a stolen item that belonged to her. The only problem is that Anita never reported anything missing and the item the police say is hers is a thirteenth century treatise on Necromancy by a mad monk, addressed to Anita, signed by Dominic Dumare, and sought by a sinister secret society.

Anita would be more than happy to get rid of the book, but the book has a will of its own, the secret society has an appetite for destruction and the only person who seems to know what’s going on is the nocturnal owner of a rare books store called Dead Words…

Paper Trail
A peek into Edward's files.

Death's Apprentice
Twenty years after the events in Obsidian Butterfly, Death's Apprentice arrives in St. Louis with a promise to keep...

Death Match (unfinished & not very good)
The further adventures if Death's Apprentice...

Payment in Blood
Set at the end of the action in "Dead Words".

Jinx Fallen may talk tough, but she’s running scared. She came to St. Louis to escape the monsters in her past but when her grandfather, Hex, asks for her help Jinx finds herself playing nurse to the injured Executioner. Before she can help Anita, Jinx has to face down a Master Vampire, an angry Ulfric and a shadow from her past, the assassin known as Death.

Jinx wants nothing more than to heal the Executioner and get on with her life, but a chance conversation with her charge reminds Jinx that there is one monster she can never leave behind…

New Moon
Jacinta Fallen used to be a monster, but she’s getting better. In the three years since she came to St. Louis, Jinx has managed to make a new life for herself. She’s even made some friends. When one of Jinx’s friends gets in trouble, she’s ready to move Heaven and Hell to make things right.

But in order to help her friend, Jinx first has to get past a cadre of holy rolling terrorists, a former emissary of the Vampire Council with some frightening news, and the sadistic scientists who run a lycanthrope Half-way House called New Moon…

High Stakes (in progress, the last in the Jinx series)
It seems like Jinx is making a habit of ending up on the wrong end of Anita Blake's gun.

When the trail of a demon-raising sorcerer leads the Executioner to a casino where the stakes are high, the play runs deep and nothing is as it seems, will Anita learn the difference between gods and monsters before it's too late for Jinx...or will she pull the trigger?

In the Beginning (in progress)
With the help of a mysterious stranger in a death's head mask, young Anita fights teen angst, peer pressure and vengeful vampires in this Halloween adventure...

Death Match (unfinished)
In a bizarre future Anitaverse, everything is different. Jean-Claude is the undisputed Master of the Midwest, Richard is a lycanthropic tyrant and the woman once known as the Executioner is now known--and feared--as the Necromancer.

But the more things change, the more they stay the same. Though Edward is gone, Death lives on. And Death is determined to finish the game…

Trial by Fire
Beinge a True Account of the Burning of the Lady Julianna and the greivous Events occurring shortly thereafter...

Me-Ri-Tsu
Anita, Sailormoon, and ceruse's bad Japanese star in this hastily written cross-over. ;o)
