The trouble starts when Anita gets a call from the cops saying that they’ve recovered a stolen item that belonged to her. The only problem is that Anita never reported anything missing and the item the police say is hers is a thirteenth century treatise on Necromancy by a mad monk, addressed to Anita, signed by Dominic Dumare, and sought by a sinister secret society.
