Math and Mathematicians on post stamps

Math, like all other sciences, is very boring if you look straight at it, but behind its big doors of numbers it hides a world full of specific type of amusement. People were respecting mathematics, from long times ago till today. In human history math is present in all wars: it helped to be produced new war machines. Archimedes is an example of this - he used math and other natural sciences to invent a lot of war machines for defense of Syracuse.
People respected mathematicians, for. As one way to show that respect, their faces were put on post stamps, which are very valuable today. In honor of Archimedes there are six stamps till today (in Italy, Greece, San Marino, Germany, Spain and Nicaragua).

Dilbert's "Salary Theorem" states that:

 "Engineers and scientists can never earn as much as business executives and sales people.
 "This theorem can now be supported by a mathematical equation based on the following two postulates:
 Postulate 1: Knowledge is Power.
 Postulate 2: Time is Money.
 * As every engineer knows: Power = Work / Time
 * Since: Knowledge = Power
 * Time = Money
 Knowledge = Work/Money.
 Solving for Money, we get:
 Money = Work / Knowledge.
 Thus, as Knowledge approaches zero,
 Money approaches infinity, regardless of the amount of work done.

 Conclusion:

 The less you know, the more you make.
