ANNAMARIE'S ABOUT HTML HOMEWORK - WEEK THREE

This is Lesson THREE of ABOUT HTML On-Line Classes.
In this page, I will try to use the tags that are outlined
in LESSON ONE, TWO AND THREE! I will add to this page
as I learn things...
These paragraphs exhibit an example of the < pre > < /pre >
tags and below will show you the < blockquote >< /blockquote >
tags.
Lets start trying out tags! .... HERE is an example
of a PRE tag this will print out exactly
as I have typed it, with all the spa ces and
line breaks in this paragraph.
A simple way to break up text is the HORIZONTAL RULE,
as seen below using some of its attributes.

I have indented with 5 space characters.
And used the carriage return to jump
    to
    a
    new
    line.

          Here we
          use
          spaces to
          create a
          text table.
Soooo, this is a very good example of using the
     PRE tags..

OK, now moving on...the BR tag moves text to the next line, with no closing tag. Also, in the BODY of this page, I have used the following body attributes BACKGROUND, LINK, VLINK and ALINK. I have also used the DIV tag with an attribute; the DIV tag is used to divide sections of the page.

Now here in this paragraph, I am using the paragraph tag with a different alignment, different font and attributes, as well as the BOLD tag

I am using my images with the attributes of SRC, WIDTH, HEIGHT, BORDER, and ALT. Of course, this paragraph in this table is also demonstrating a different FONT and TEXT SIZE! WOW!!!

sleepThis is a picture of my little doxie, PIPPY...Pippy was sleeping right after a bath, she looked soooo cute in her little towel; I just had to snap (another) picture! LOL!! Hopefully, this will illustrate the IMG tag along with several attributes.

This is the BLOCKQUOTE tag that indents text with the tags from both sides..This is one of my LEAST favorite tags!
