Doctoral Research Fellow (July 2002- current)
  •        Developed alternative models for methionine production by a regulatory mutant of Corynebacterium lilium.
  •        Considered optimization parameters for methionine production.
  •        Develop different control strategies such as nonlinear geometric control, optimal control and nonlinear                        adaptive control for maximizing methionine production in fed-batch fermentation.
  •        Compare the control strategies on based on performance.
  •        Configuration of hardware for real time implementation of developed control strategies.
  •        Monitoring and control of process variables for optimizing the products.
  •        Online implementation of developed control strategies.

Project during PhD work
  • Carried out the development of the mutant strain of Bacillus lichniformis followed by its isolation, purification and its application for alkaline protease production.
