Doctoral Research Fellow (July 2002- current)
- Developed alternative models for methionine production by a regulatory mutant of Corynebacterium lilium.
- Considered optimization parameters for methionine production.
- Develop different control strategies such as nonlinear geometric control, optimal control and nonlinear adaptive control for maximizing methionine production in fed-batch fermentation.
- Compare the control strategies on based on performance.
- Configuration of hardware for real time implementation of developed control strategies.
- Monitoring and control of process variables for optimizing the products.
- Online implementation of developed control strategies.
Project during PhD work
- Carried out the development of the mutant strain of Bacillus lichniformis followed by its isolation, purification and its application for alkaline protease production.
