And We Begin Here...

FAMILY

And so here we are.  You are probably wondering who I am and what this page will be about.  Easy enough.  I reign from the cold north-eastern corner of Connecticut, where my parents still insanely reside.  You know, home of the infamous UConn Huskies.  I'm 23, having just celebrated my birthday on Cinco de Mayo.  Or, for you ignorants, 5 May.
Up until 1995, I had survived many a harsh cold winters in New England before realizing that was not the place I wanted to be.  In August of that year, I packed up and moved to Washington, DC.  Ok, I wasn't being rebellious or even trying to merely find myself.  I was actually heading to start college at the esteemed
American University.
There, I studied print journalism and sociology, while experiencing all the wonders of college life; beastly roommates, horrendous dorm food, constant all-nighters...and the list goes on.
Beginning my junior year, I started working at the
Association of American Law SchoolsI started out as a mere staff assistant, until March of 1999 when I was offered a full-time position as Assistant to the Director of the Pro Bono Project.
What is the Pro Bono Project?  The Association put together a task force to request funding from the Open Society Institute (a George Sorros baby).  The funding was approved and the AALS received a one year grant to hire two staff members to work on encouraging pro bono within the law schools.  Since then, we have visited over 35 of the 182 accredited law schools, finding out what, if any, pro bono is going on, and encouraging mandatory pro bono before graduation for each and every law student.  A timely and sometimes controversial issue to say the least.  For more information, please visit our website at

Now then.  Enough of that. It's time for you to explore the rest of my page.  Run free! Read about my family! My friends! My impeccable music tastes and the foreign lands my feet have touched...or want to touch.  Oh yeah, and if you're interested in knowing what I look like...well just click
