Time for more Andreas Schnass...
And this time again, it's more violent shit; VIOLENT SHIT 3!!!
Now I gotta tell you. I was torn with this one. I was almost tempted to put it in the regular MOVIE OF THE WEEK section. But being Andreas Schnass, and kind of a rip off of TROMA's WAR, I thought it was more appropriate here.
But this is definately Andreas Schnass's best effort so far, and my favourite of his flicks. Ok, so the story is pretty weakly structured, just when you think someone is the central main heroic character, they get snuffed, and the character you are given to believe is just tossed in ends up going the distance. But then, this could be construed as a metaphor for reality (in reality there are no heros and anyone can die). But who needs metaphors when ya got the coolest over the top gore effects I've seen since SHOGUN ASSASSIN.
The story? Some guys come to an island ruled by KARL THE BUTCHER from the first two VIOLENT SHITS. Only this time he has a clan-like army of brutal killers who worship him and a Nazi-like Scientist who sadisticly makes all sorts of fucked up creations out of unwilling victims. The guys are captured and, along with a Asian Kung-fu fighting disident from Karls army, become prey in a manhunt.
The Gore? Some of the most fucked up VIOLENT SHIT I've ever had the pleasure of viewing...
SEE men's flesh ripped from their chests with hooks and chains....
WITNESS as a man's spine is pull out with a hook up his ass...
WATCH bodies ripped apart and cut in half...
MARVEL at the sharpest machetes on the face of the planet...
NOTHING is left to the imagination...
I swear, this one even tops PREMUTOES!!! There are Zombies, Kung-Fu, Torture, Rape, every manner of killing imaginable...this one has it all!!!
SO GOREHOUNDS, if you haven't seen this one, you are not worthy of the name...consider yourself still a GOREPUPPY!!!!!
