I am the mom of three girls ages 10, 7, and 4. I live in Kansas with my husband of 3 years and my daughters. My oldest was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 5. It's been a trial, but things get better as time goes on and we learn more about this disorder. Her psychiatrist says she is bi polar as well, but she's not on any medicine for that. She is on Concerta for the ADHD and it helps A LOT! I started the ADD/ADHD Support club so that others in the same situation could find each other, get support, and vent their frustrations. If you have an ADHD child you know there are plenty of those!
I am a 32 year old single mother of two children. My oldest child was diagnosed at the age of 6 with ADHD, ODD, and anxiety disorder. I am from New Brunswick, Canada. My oldest child is on Dexadrine and Clonodine for the ADHD and ODD.
