SURE .....eeqmarks.jpg (3801 bytes)

........that you are going to be with God in heaven?

If God were to ask you, "Why should I let you into my heaven?"

What would you say? If you are uncertain or hesitate for a moment to answer that question, this web page has the best news you could ever hear! The few minutes it will take you to read the following lines may be the most important time you will ever spend!

Are you aware that God said you can know for sure that you have eternal life and will go to be with Him in heaven?

"These things I have written to you... that you may know that you have eternal life"

(I John 5:13). How can we know?

Eternal life is a free gift!

We tend to look for a price tag, but the Bible says,

"the gift of God is eternal life..."(Romans 6:23).ee1.jpg (8203 bytes)

And because eternal life is a gift, like any other genuine gift, it can't be earned or deserved.

No amount of personal effort, good works, or religious deeds can earn a place in heaven for us. The Bible says that eternal life... "is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast" (Ephesians 2:9).

What stands in the way of our receiving this gift? There is a world-wide problem called SIN, and...

We're all Sinners!

 ee2.jpg (3422 bytes)

"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).Lying, stealing, cheating, lust, anger, wars, riots, drug abuse, and crimes of all sorts, are the result of something God calls "Sin". And because we've all sinned, it should be evident that...

We Can't Save Ourselves

Have you ever wondered just how good you would have to be to make it to heaven by your own good deeds? God said, "Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect" (Matthew 5:48).  God make heaven and he determines who can enter it. Even the smallest sin would contaminate God's perfect paradise called "heaven"! So there must be... an entirely different way to get there!

Consider what...

God says about Himself

He is Love and doesn't want to punish us. The Bible says: "God is Love" (I John 4:3b).ee3.jpg (4809 bytes)

And He says, "I have loved you with an everlasting love" (Jeremiah 31:3b).

But the same Bible that tells us God loves us, also tells us that...

God is Just, and Therefore Must Punish Sin

He "...does not leave the guilty unpunished" (Exodus 34:7). Here is the problem - God is love and doesn't want to punish us, but he is Just and must punish sin.

God solved this problem for us in the person of...

Jesus Christ

?ee4.jpg (3444 bytes)

Who would you say He is

The Bible teaches that Jesus of Nazareth was and is God, "...the visible expression of the invisible God" (Colossians 1:15, JBP)

Anyone who wants to know what God is like should check out the perfect and sinless life of Jesus Christ. But we may also ask...

What Did He Do?

He died on the cross and rose from the dead to pay the penalty for our sins and purchase a place for us in heaven which he offers as a free gift.

"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him (Jesus) the iniquity (sin) of us all" (Isaiah 53:6).

Does everyone receive this gift? No. This gift is received by...

Faith

Faith opens the door to eternal life. Many people mistake three things for saving faith:

(1) Saving faith is not a "blind leap in the dark". Faith that gets us to heaven is based on what is true, not on mere "hope-so's"

(2) Saving faith is not a mere "head belief". We'll never get to heaven simply because we know about God, or because we know about Jesus Christ, His Son.

(3) Saving faith is more than a mere "now belief" in God for times of emergency, only to forget about Him until the next crisis comes along.

Saving faith is trusting in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life.

"...believe (trust) on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31). You can use the "Key of Saving Faith" to open the door of heaven and eternal life today!ee5.jpg (2788 bytes)

The question God is asking you now is...

Would You Like to Receive the Gift of Eternal Life?

Because this is such an important matter, let's clarify what it involves. It means that you must transfer your trust from what you have been doing, to what Christ has done for you on his cross. It means that you must receive the resurrected and living Christ as your savior from sin. And this commitment means that you must...

 ee6.jpg (3905 bytes)

Receive Jesus as Lord

Give Him the "driver's seat" of your life, not the "back seat". His control is both safe and satisfying!

And this commitment means that you must repent, that you are willing to turn from anything that is not pleasing to Him, and that you will follow Him as He reveals His will to you.

He says, " I stand at the door and knock, if any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him" (Revelation 3:20)

Now if this is what you really want...

You Can Go to God in Prayer

You can receive His gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ right where you are!

"...with the heart one believes and with the mouth confession is made to salvation...whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:10,13).

If you want to receive the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, call on Him, asking for this gift right now.

Here's a Suggested Prayer:

"Lord Jesus Christ, I know that I am a sinner and do not deserve eternal life. I believe You died and rose from the grave to purchase a place in heaven for me. Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Take control of my life. Forgive my sins and save me. I repent of my sins, and now place my trust in You for salvation. I accept Your free gift of eternal life, and thank you for it".

If this prayer is the sincere expression of your heart, look at what Jesus promises you: "...he who believes in Me has everlasting life" (John 6:47).

Welcome to God's Family!

ee8.jpg (1999 bytes)

If you have truly repented, (forsaken and turned away from your sins), placed your trust in Jesus Christ's sacrificial death, and received the gift of eternal life, you are now a child of God!

"...as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name" (John 1:12).

Today is your Spiritual Birthday,

a day you will want to remember! The Bible speaks of those who receive eternal life in these words, "Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God" (John 1:13)

The date of your physical birth was probably marked by a birth certificate.

And to help you recall what God did in your life today, please use the following...

Spiritual Birth Certificate

Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13)

Knowing that I have sinned, and that I need the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior, I now turn from my sins and trust Him for my salvation. I have asked Him to forgive me, and to deliver me from sin's power, and give me eternal life.

I now give Jesus Christ control of my life. From this time forward, as He gives me strength, I will seek to serve Him and obey Him in all areas of my life.

Just as a newborn baby grows physically, in a similar way you can grow spiritually, by taking the following steps:

ee9.jpg (1409 bytes)Read one chapter of the Book of John in the Bible each day. "As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the Word (of God), that you may grow thereby" (II Peter 2:2)

ee10.jpg (1601 bytes)Spend time each day in prayer talking with God.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God..." (Philippians 4:6).

ee11.jpg (2436 bytes)Worship regularly in a church that teaches you the Bible and honors Jesus Christ. "I was glad when they said to me, 'Let us go into the house of the Lord' " (Psalm 122:1)

God is a Spirit, and those who worship Him, must worship in spirit and truth" (John 4:24).
