What is the Cub Scout Program ?

Cub Scouts is the program of the Boy Scouts of America to serve younger boys ages 6 through 10. Like the Boy Scout program it is founded on the principles of:
Service to God, Country and Community, and
Personal physical, mental and character development.
Cub Scouts actually consists of three different age/grade level based programs:
Tiger Cub Logo
Tiger Cubs - A program for boys 6 years old or in the first grade, with the motto "Search, Discover, Share."

The boy participates with an adult partner.  This program is designed to strengthen family bonds, proviode an itroduction to Cub Scouting and to make Scouting available to young boys.

Cub Scout Logo Cub Scouts- - for boys in the second and third grades.

A family centered program for boys which capiytalizes on a boy's natural interests and creates strenger family bonds through joint involvement in activities geared towards each of the boy's age and grade levels.

Advancement Requirements

WEBELOS Emblem Webelos - A program for 9 and 10 year old boys.

The Webelos program introduces boys to the fundamentals of Boy Scout outdoor skills and camping.
