ARCTIC ADVENTURE TREKS was founded in 1992 in the town of Rovaniemi, the capital of the Province of Lapland, which is the northernmost province of Finland.

The idea was to arrange trekking adventures into the wilderness areas around the town where still untouched and for this region typical nature can be found. Among other things the idea also included the creation of activities during the treks in order to make the stay most unforgettable. Practical exercises of how to survive in the wilds were the right choice of activities.

The clientel consists of people who like to be outdoors and to practice outdoor activities both in summer and in winter. Many people have seen already the Amazon or the Kilimancharo, now its time for Lapland.

Arctic Adventure Treks was among the first firms to develop web site marketing in Lapland. That's why the clients come from all over the world and make reservations via e-mail or fax or just come to Rovaniemi and contact us directly with the necessary information in a print out.
