RIVERMAN'S DRIVER'S LICENCE

CONTENTS: English speaking host, driving test and licence, life jackets, sausages, coffee, pastry in a Lapp tent.
DESCRIPTION: Arrival in Niskanperä, putting on the life jackets, driving instructions and driving test on the Kemijoki. After the test there will be sausages, coffee and pastry in the Lapp tent. Writing of the licences and lots of time for a chat.
A.A.T.EQUIPMENT: Traditional log raft, life jacket, rubber boots.
REMARK: A pleasant and completely safe programme in the shallow waters of a Kemijoki bay (depth 0,5 m).


LAPLAND CEREMONY

DURATION: 1-2 h
PRICE: 60,-FIM / pers.
GROUP: 1 - 30 pers.
CONTENTS: English speaking host, ceremony, reindeer skin certificate, sausages, coffee, pastry.
DESCRIPTION: The traditional welcome ceremony for all Lapland visitors. After the ceremony frying of sausages, coffee and pastry by the fire of the Lapp tent. Lots of information about Lapland, reindeer etc.
REMARK: A nice programme for small groups and bus groups. Available also canoes and a log raft. Situation by the Kemijoki river.


EVENING IN A LAPP TENT

DURATION: 2-3 h
PRICE: 160,-FIM / pers.
GROUP: 2 - 20 pers.
CONTENTS: English speaking host, sauteed reindeer prepared by the campfire of the Lapp tent, Lapland ceremony, coffee, pastry, reindeer skin-certificate.
DESCRIPTION: The traditional dish of the Lapps is prepared by the open fire of the Lapp tent, mashed potatoes, lingonberries, bread, as dessert coffee and Lapp pastry. After the meal the Lapp ceremony and the certificates. A lot of time for a chat.
REMARK: A pleasant programme of individual travellers and groups. Situation by the Kemijoki river.


ARCTIC SAUNA - EVENING IN A LAPP TENT

DURATION: 3-4 h
PRICE: 220,-FIM / pers.
GROUP: 2 - 15 pers.
CONTENTS: English speaking host, finnish sauna, reindeer dish, coffee and pastry, Lapland ceremony, reindeerskin-certificate.
DESCRIPTION: The evening starts with the real finnish sauna, take also a swim in the river. After the sauna the traditional sauteed reindeer is prepared in the Lap tent by the open fire. Coffee and Lapp pastry as dessert. The Lapland ceremony follows and the reindeer skin certificates. A nice chat about Lappland, reindeer etc.

OVERNIGHT IN A LAPP TENT

DURATION: 1 night
PRICE: from 125,-FIM / pers.
GROUP: 1 - 25 pers.
CONTENTS: Overnight in a traditional Lapp tent on reindeer skins, campfire in the middle of the tent.
DESCRIPTION: See, how the Saami lived in their traditional accommodation in the old days. Lern that for a calm and refreshing sleep you do not have to have a soft bed, but soft reindeerskins, a campfire and quietness.
