This 200+ page paperback text covers the basics of HTML, with short descriptions and demonstrational graphics of each description covering typical coding for web page development and design.  The author also has additional, more specific texts available for MS Internet Explorer and Netscape browser users.  So, if you know nothing about HTML, this is an informative, beginner text--short and to the point.


Teach Yourself Html 4 in 24 Hours (Teach Yourself...)

A 400+page paperback text, the user is given more in-depth detail when compared to the previous book.  Although some of the topics are repeated, there are also numerous new ones covered, which include:  image maps, style sheets, applets, scripts to alter elements, background and color control, etc.  The author also has "Just a minute" tips and "new term" definitions along the way as you read/practice the techniques in each chapter.  Finally, a useful "Quick Reference" appendix summarizes a number of HTML codes covered in the chapters.
