1. That's me - Susan M. Garrett - standing on the steps at which the first scene of the day was shot. The door behind me goes right into the area from picture 2.
2. This is a view from the reception desk looking down. You can see the metal detector at the bottom of the stairs and the steps from photo 1 just beyond the doors. We were very familiar with these steps by the time the day was over. | ![]() |

3. This is the squad room pictured from near the hall entrance. The open door is to the box. The desk just beyond the pillar belongs to Falsone, the one just before that I think belongs to Munch.
4. Everyone knows what this is. We were filming in November 1998, but the board date says 1999 because the episode is to be aired and set in 1999. Clever, no? The script actually details what items on the board are to be in red and black and under which names. | ![]() |

5. This is taken from the rear of the squad room, just in front of the box and the side entrance and Gharty's desk, facing forward. The desk at the forefront is Ballard's, the next is where Bill and Sharon were seated, Ed and I were on the other side. Beyond that are Lewis'and Sheppard's desks.
6. This is a close-up of Lewis's desk--notice the bottle, the football, and the message on the left side of the wall. His framed detective certificate is posted on the wall just behind the desk. | ![]() |

7. The open doorway goes to Gee's office.
8. Here's a closeup of Stiver's desk. Check out the doggie in the picture and the toy police car. | ![]() |
