WEB SHRINES

My obsessions are many, but only a few characters are intriguing enough to merit placement in a Web Shrine. Enjoy the naunces of this one, with two more coming when they will.

RECOOM

The landscape of DBZ is littered with the bodies of insanely powerful characters that have struggled against the insanely overpowered heroes ... Freeza, Cell, Nappa, Raditz ... the list goes on and on. But one stands out, because of his inspirational tale of trial and triumph ... the human soul of the Ginyu Force ... the character whose name's spelling none can agree upon ... Recoom.

AMANO JYAKU

Urotsukidoji, more commonly known as "Overfiend", is infamous for its huge amounts of sex, violence, sexual violence, and violent sex. But that's not why I love the series so much. I love it because Amano Jyaku is a big enough badass to stand head-to-head with a kaiju-style demon with a hundred dicks the size of Tokyo Tower and not feel insecure. That, and his sister's hotter than hell. Come inside, and join the beast-men.

REI AYANAMI

Neon Genesis Evangelion is quite possibly the best anime ever made (with the exception of "Pink Haired Girls With Huge Breasts Get Banged By Huge Demons Wai!", but I won't go there), with moving, emotionally disturbed characters, amazing fight scenes with huge robots called Evas, and lots and lots of Biblical imagery and blasphemy ... mixed in with perverted humor, gratuitous fanservice and a penquin named Pen-Pen. Amidst this chaos is the coldly beautiful, incestuous, seemingly emotionless girl named Rei. Join us in worshipping her.
