My family
My father (Manolis) is the director of a local elementary school
in Karlovassi and my mother (Maria) runs a shop. I also have two
younger brothers: Giannis is a mechanical engineer and my youngest
brother Kostas is a computer engineer. They are both currently doing
their military service in Samos.

My Interests
I enjoy watching football and basketball games on television.
I also enjoy reading,going to cinema and theatre. In fact
I participated to a play a few years ago. As for my music
taste, I prefer pop and progressive dance music. During five
years I produced radio shows at two local radio stations in
Samos. I also like traveling and outdoors activities such
as hiking, camping and spear fishing. Finaly I am a big fan
of Formula 1 Championship and my favorite driver was Ayrton
Senna. Nowadays, I am supporting the Mercedes McLaren team.
I recently went to the France Magny Cours racing track and
I had the opportunity to watch a F1 race. It was a great experience. |

My Island :Samos
Samos’ location played a great role in its development.
It lies in the Eastern Aegean, very close to the coast of Asia
Minor. It is at the heart of Ionia, almost midway along the
sea route that links Greece with Anatolia, the Black Sea, Egypt
and the Eastern Mediterranean. Beautiful and green, the island
is filled with wonderful beaches, picturesque villages and harbors.
The island's nature, the climate and the archeological treasures
have turned it into a touristic magnet. Samos, however may not
the place for those who like crowded places and want to party
until the morning. On the other hand it is a perfect place to
relax and enjoy the beauty of sea and nature. My family still
lives in Karlovassi. In the photograph section you will find
