Beaches
|
The nearest beach to Villa
Panorama is about 15 minutes walk. The area from Marbella to Estepona
contains some of the best and least crowded beaches on the Costa Del
Sol, with most being reachable in 10-20 minutes drive. |
Shopping
|
There are a
small number of shops, including a supermarket, newsagent and pharmacy,
at the local 'commercial centre' about 7-8 minutes walk from the
villa. Larger supermarkets are within a few minutes drive and there is a
Carrefour hypermarket about 10 minutes away, in Estepona. Puerto Banus
(also about 10 minutes away) has an assortment of mostly clothes and
jewellery stores, plus an enormous department store (El Corte Ingles).
Marbella is also famous for its fashionable shopping, while a day trip
to Gibraltar would give you the chance to purchase all manner of
duty-free goods (electronics, perfume, spirits, tobacco, etc). There are
large weekly street markets at both Puerto Banus and Estepona. |
Eating Out

The local commercial
centre, which is about 7-8 minutes walk away, offers a choice of several
bars and restaurants, and there are numerous such intervals along the
coast road. The small, picturesque village of Benahavis, which is 10
minutes drive inland, is designated as a gastronomic centre and boast a
large number of both family and up-market restaurants. Puerto Banus is
famous for its waterside bars and restaurants, and there are numerous
traditional Spanish restaurants to be found in the local towns and
villages. |
Attractions

Our villa is just 5 minutes
from one of the Costa Del Sol's major attractions - the Selwo wildlife
park. There are water parks at Fuengirola and Torremolinos. There's the
Tivoli World theme park & cable car at Arroyo de la Miel. Then there's
cable skiing, Jeep safaris, dolphin cruises, horse riding, pony trekking
and plenty to keep the most active of families occupied! |
Golf
|
Villa Panorama is ideally
situated to make the most of the region's fabulous golfing facilities.
Five of the Costa del Sol's best courses are within 2km (Guadalmina
North & South, Atalaya Old & New and El Paraiso). In total, there are 15
courses within 20 minutes drive, and all of the other 20 or so courses
between Malaga and Gibraltar are reachable in less than an hour. |
