Saving the environment
As Officer John Hart came to in the abandoned warehouse, he was alone with full energy tanks. Wasting no time he checked his long range sensors for any sign of the Z-mage. He cursed to himself as the sensors came up with no sign of the Z-mage. Wasting no time, Hart went to the spot where the Z-mage had reformed after he had been killed. There was a faint residue of the Pheonix Gate's energies. Not enough for him to get a sample that he could do anything with, just enough to tell him where he could find more. If the Z-mage hadn't changed his habits, he would be using whatever power he had as much as possible. If he could find where else this magic was being used, that should lead him straight to the Z-mage. Sure enough, his scan located someone about human sized practically dripping with this 'Pheonix Gate' energy. His armor calculated possible routes for this being to take, and told him the most likely intercept point. Activating the jet pack part of his armor to speed towards the figure, Hart sped off towards the figure. Every unaccounted move the figure made was assimilated by his tracking sensor and put into the intercept calculations. It took less than an hour at top speed for him to run into the figure. "Finally" Hart said to himself, "My mission is almost over." Then he noticed he hadn't, in fact, located the Z-mage, but rather that new lackey he had with him in the warehouse. Captain Pollution's yellow body was covered in green toxic waste. Hart turned on the external speakers. He hurled himself into Captain Pollution, sending them both crashing towards the ground. "What the hell?" Pollution yelled, charging up some radiation to attack his assailant. Or, at least, trying to. Hart had injected a tiny neurotoxin designed specifically to prevent magical abilities from being used into Captain Pollution, and so Pollution couldn't really do anything with his powers. "For exactly 24 hours" Hart told him, "you'll only be able to fly in an airplane. And you won't be using any of your other powers, either. Your only chance of walking away from this is to tell me what I want to know. Where's Z-mage?" "I lost track of him," Captain Pollution yelled. "He was heading towards the Hall of Justice, whereever that is. If you find him, I hope you kill that bastard!" Hart was a little surprised to find his captive so willing, so he didn't say anything else. "Don't drop me, alright!" Pollution yelled, "Just find someplace safe to put me, PLEASE, and go on your way!" Hart ignored the Captain's pleading and realized that he only had one chance of getting rid of Z-mage, and that was to counter the energies keeping him alive. This figure practically dripped with it in his being. He activated a tiny switch in his glove and drained the Pheonix Gate energies into a compartment of his suit. When he did this, Captain Pollution was surrounded by a thin corona of fire that didn't burn him or register heat in Officer Hart's suit. As the last of the energy was drained from him, Captain Pollution disappeared from Khazan and the time frame, going back to the time he came from. Hart merely recorded this with the camera in his helmet. Hart's computer gave him the best route to the Hall of Justice. He landed to conserve energy, and took off at top speed to the Hall of Justice. Z-mage thought he could manipulate Hart into defeating his enemy, but Hart knew Z-mage would still strike at this DeMonStar. So Hart would be willing to meet him, and would use DeMonStar as bait to set up the perfect snipershot for Z-mage, launching the toxin into him and making him weak enough to take into custody.
