However, before Skick could finish his next thought, the van filled with a mysterious green flame which didn't generate any additional heat, but which did have the strange effect of gathering around Z-mage and Demonicuss. The green flame grew in birghtness, before finally disappearing. Everybody seemed to let out a sigh until they noticed that Demonicuss and Z-mage were gone!

Z-mage and Demonicuss were very disturbed to find themselves back in the fortress of solitude, even more disturbed to find the charred body of OzBat lying in the corner, and most disturbed by the sight of DeMonStar and Z-Mage standing side by side.

"Greetings my creator." DeMonStar said as he glarred at Demonicuss with a face that implied extremely hostile intent. "It seems that my collegue and I have come upon a revelation. Perhaps you would like to share this revelation with our would be 'gods' sorrcer."

Neither Demonicuss nor Z-mage liked this one bit. DeMonStar and Z-Mage, friends?!! This was not a good thing.

"Certainly," the villian sorrcer spoke up " you see, while it may be impossible to gain omnipotence through your deaths, we have discovered a way to ensure our own immortality."

With that, Z-Mage snapped his finger as a large red light seemed to fill the room. Within the center of the light, Z-mage and Demonicuss struggled to try and discern the identity of figure that seemed to be materilizing within the center of the light.

"T-1000!" both Demonicuss and Z-mage said in unision as they saw the image of their friend, co-writter, and Infinities founder appear within the light. T-1000 floated within the red light that Z-Mage had conjoured, his eyes shut, and no indication that he was aware of anything going on around him. It seemed to them as if he was in some kind of stasis.

"Yes, your founding member. I believe both DeMonStar and I could almost properly refer to him as our grandfather. For it was he was it not who first created the very organization which the two of you would join and create us was it not? It was DeMonStar who first learned of him durring his time at the Rumbles board, and now the two of us have discovered the perfect opprotunity to exsist forever." Z-Mage said, glaring all the time with discontent towards his creator.

DeMonStar contiuned. "You see both Z-Mage and I are well aware that our lives well seem to be in your hands. Our near death experiance with this OzBat creature has already proven that at any moment, our lives teater at the brink of nonexistence. Already, my temeporary ally Z-Mage fears death at the hands of his younger self in our own dimension thanks to you. I too could one day come across a death or defeat so severe that it could bring to an end all my dreams of achieveing the perfection that I have seeked all my life. However, when I learned of this being," DeMonStar said, raising his hand and pointing to T-1000, "I learned of a way to ensure our immortality."

The poster Z-mage put his hands in his pocket, feeling through all the pokeballs. While those two villains kept talking, he had to think, there had to be some way to save T-1000. Meanwhile, Demonicuss looked over to Ozbat. However DeMonStar and Z-Mage had escaped, they had forgotten to destroy the two headphones that OzBat had used to entrance them.

"Don't you see? I have peared into this one's soul. He cares deeply for the organization that he has created and the story series that he has given birth to. He would never truely allow me to suffer a death at the hands of my younger self, instead merely prolonging the day, keeping me alive. Even with the two of you dead, he would almost certainly maintain the story line in which DeMonStar exsist, but without the two of you, he would place us both in different situations, situations which may be advantegous to us or not, but which will keep us alive." Z-Mage said with a sneer.

"When the one known as Ozbat awakens, you two shall be dead. We will certainly be sent back to our own worlds and T-1000 will resume writting the stories with the others, ensuring our long life, though sadly not our own omnipotence." DeMonStar said, raising his hand towards his creator, preparing to snap his neck off.

This was bad, and they still seemed to be no closer to finding out the true mastermind behind this all.
