Coldwater - an unexplored lake at the headwaters of the Isar River southeast of Andalusia.
Gambrel Bay - strait between Ishbaar and Ullysia leading to the Seagate, lightly patrolled by Ullysian Navy from El Kebir.
Great Star Lake - largest freshwater body of water in the Northlands, located in southeastern Cassenddy. The island in the middle is somehow magically cut off from the rest of the world and remains a mystery. All known attempts to explore it have been unsuccessful.
Halfor Bay - bay between Cassenddy and the Stykll Isles whose northern half freezes over in winter. Halfor Bay is well-mapped and patrolled on the Cassenddy coast from the naval bases in Rylkennen and Hasthness although occasional barbarian longship raids are launched on the Cassenddian coast and merchant ships.
Karming Reach - arm of the Marvent Sea south of Karming, well mapped and patrolled from Karming although there are scrag colonies along the Mystmarshes.
Marvent Sea - the large sea that separates the northern lands from the Mosquito Coast. Each nation maintains its own naval force on the Sea, of which Zakhar's is the most powerful. Many monsters reside here - serpents, sharks, and octopi, to name a few.
Sea of Storms - ocean south of Cassenland, very treacherous in the summer because of hurricanes and large storms and not very well explored. The few sailors that brave the voyage to Tabolport in the south speak of legendary gargantuan monsters residing here.
The Seagate - narrow straits between Seagate and the Great Southern Desert. They are occasionally patrolled from Seagate and the port city will impose export taxes on any ship leaving it or using its pilots. Though the straits are well mapped, the maps are heavily guarded and only given out to Seagate pilots, so there are only a few clandestine pilots not regulated by the Free City and most are a dangerous proposition.
Western Ocean - the westernmost ocean, west of Cassenland and the Stykll Isles. No one knows where it ends and its western coast is.
Wythian Sea - the northernmost ocean, north of Cassenddy, it is frozen over for at least half of the year.
