The AN/PSS-12 Mine Detector is a light weight, hand-held, metallic mine detector. It is capable of detecting very small metallic objects such as small firing pins in plastic and wooden mines. The AN/PSS-12 Mine Detector is capable of detecting mines in fresh or salt water, and objects buried up to 20 inches in the ground.
  • Caltrops: Tetrahedral spikes, medium size, made from bright orange hard plastic, effective against persons and vehicle tires.     Diving Equipment
  • Closed-circuit SCUBA (Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus) Gear: Type LAR V (Lung Automatic Rebreather; used by the U.S.- Marine Corps), maximum depth about 10 metres, air for 200-240 minutes, hydrophones are alerted within 1 metre, no bubbles. The LAR V will interface with the Oxygen Transfer Pump System (OTPS), K-bottle compressed air cylinder, Surface Swimmer Set, Closed Circuit Life Vest, Diving Dry Suit Set, Tool Set, Shop Oxygen Equipment, and the LAR V Deployable Tool Set. 12.5 kg.
