To connect to this MUCK, you need a a MUCK Client. You can get one here. I recommend Pueblo, I don't know how I ever mucked without it!

Of course, you need to know the host and port number to log on, right?

Host: mucks3.dynip.com
Port: 9091

Once you have connected, just type in 'con guest guest' and there you have it! You can request a character, but we'll talk about that in a minute.

I would strongly advise you to read the rules before you connect. If you need help once on the MUCK, type 'help' or page a wizard. You can find the wizzes online by typing 'wizzes'

Now, by chance, you are ready to request a character!

There are four types of characters you can request.
The first would be a rabbit. Considering the book was on rabbits, you should probably want to start out as a rabbit! The second is elil, enemies of rabbits. This would include foxes, cats, badgers, anything that would hunt a rabbit. The third is airborne creatures, namely birds and bats. The fourth, well, I'm still deciding on this, but perhaps you could choose something like a human or cow, but I'm still deciding, ask me about it.

After you have decided on a species, you need a name. I'm not very good help with that, but here we go:

Rabbits have two naming rules. The first, they can be named after a plant or animal. Hazel, for example, was named after a type of nut, Blackberry, after a berry bush, etc. The second, they use odd sounding names in Lapine. Thlayli means 'furhead'. Hyzenthlay means 'shine-dew-fur' or 'fur shining like dew'. Fiver's name happens to be a bit odd itself. Usually rabbits cannot count up to five, but that's how Fiver got his name.

Ok, well, now that that is all taken care of, you can request a character. For now, until we get the @request up, you can either ask Inthlay on the MUCK, if he is on, or send the following information to BlayzeClaw@aol.com with Character Application in the subject line.

FC Characters:

A commonly asked question is how to get an FC character. Well, first off, you have to log onto the MUCK. From there, you should go to the Begining of Time. And, from that room, you type in 'fc' and *poof* you'll be in the FC room. You'll see the characters that need players there and a sign which tells you how to request one. I do not do 'first-come-first-serve', I choose out of the best applications who gets what character. I suggest you apply for more then one character, since many people will be applying for all of them. Chances of you getting one? Not to bad, but it is a bit hard!
