Jema is an old warrior from
Tasnica. He was friends with the Boy's father - Serin - when he was
alive. He's your guide through parts of the game, so listen to what
he says. You first meet him in Potos's café, but he won't talk
to you until you fight the Mantis Ant. |
Cannon Man |

 |
The Cannon Men can be found
near many major towns. They can blast you in their cannons to other
areas of the world. |
Neko |
|
 |
This salescat sets up shop
almost everywhere. He's go what you need, but the prices are steep. |
Dyluck |

 |
Purim's boyfriend, and leader
of the Witch Hunters. Later, he and Phanna are kidnapped by Thanatos. |
Luka |

 |
200 years old, and keeper
of the Water Palace. For the first part of the game, she is your guide.
Meaning, if you're lost and haven't gone to the Upperland yet - go
see her! |
Republican
Soldier |

 |
These are soldiers of Tasnica
and Pandora, and aren't always friendly. |
Phanna |
|
 |
Purim's friend, and jealous
of Purim and Dyluck. Thanatos kidnaps her and Dyluck. |
Dwarf Elder |
|
 |
Leader of the Dwarves. He
has this sideshow... Also, visit him before you go to the Upperland
and he'll give you the Midge Mallet. |
Watts |
|
 |
Blacksmith extradonare!
He can reforge your weapons with those energy orbs that you keep finding. |
Elinee |
|
 |
Elinee is the witch that
first captures Dyluck. When you find her, she sends Dyluck away and
has her "pet" attack you. When the Spikey Tiger (her pet)
is deafeated, she comes to her senses, gives you the whip and some
information, and sends you outside with the last of her power. |
Thanatos |

Thanatos is this game's
major bad guy. He's big, bad and strong. You first find him draining
the energy of the Pandorans. He kidnaps Dyluck and Phanna after you
free Pandora. One of the Emperor's bodyguards, this lieutenant has
his own agenda... |
Scorpion Boss |

A crackpot boss of a three
member army. She's got an attitude, and a mission to rule the world. |

These two guys blindly follow
their bosses command. Put together, they have half a brain. |

A member of the Imperial
army. Bad to the core. |
Geshtar |

 |
Lieutenant of the Empire,
and one of the Emperor's bodyguards. He attacks you with his Jabberwocky
and Mech Rider's. |
Popoie's Grandpa |

The grandfather of the Sprite
and keeper of the Wind Palace. He gives you Sylphid's powers and will
heal you any time. |
King Truffle |
|
 |
Ruler of Matango. A bit
eccentric, but a great ally! He raises Flammie for you. |
Flammie |

Your ride through the second
half of the game. You first meet him in the Matango Caves, but Truffle
takes care of him until you clear Northtown Castle.

the Republic captured him. He helps you escape from the Sandship. |

The King of Kakkara looks
like a shopkeeper, and is hard of hearing. In exchange for a Sea Hare's
Tail, he gives you the Moogle Belt. |

 |
A monster has kidnapped
his master, and you've got to save him. |
Santa |

 |
Rudolph's master, and prisoner
of Frost Gigas. He gives you the Fire Seed. |
Mara |
|
 |
She's considered a lunatic
in Southtown, but it's all show. You get the Resistance password and
the Light Tower key from her. |
Krissie |
|
 |
Only 18, she's the brains
behind the Resistance. While in Northtown you meet up with her a few
times. On the Lost Continent, she restores your HP for nothing. |
Emperor |
|
 |
Ruler of the Empier, he's
nothing more than a puppet for a greater evil. He does throw you and
Krissie in jail. |
Sheex |
|
 |
Another of the Emperor's
bodyguards. This lieutenant tries to overthrow Tasnica. You fight
him twice - as Dark Stalker and Aegagropilon. |
Fahna |
|
 |
The fourth lieutenant/bodyguard.
She only pays attention to you after you defeat Sheex. Her attack
form is Hexas. |
Jehk |
|
 |
Is he a bird or human in
disguise? Jehk is actualy Sage Joch. As Jehk he tells you where to
go next after you have Flammie. You have to prove yourself before
he'll talk to you as Sage Joch. |
Karon |
|
 |
All he does is allow you
access to the Moon Palace. |
