Former captain of the guard in Leona, Atolla was transformed by Antignarot into the form most similar his personality - that of a lion. He's a bit slow to catch on to humor. He is largely responsible for bringing Jay and Carol into the fight after they help him escape surveillance from Antignarot.

After gaining his trust, and becoming one of his head advisors, the army's top generals, Ames Garrison and Cindel Loftia, suspected his intentions. As the two spied on his and researched him, Atolla told Jay of another side of him - he had destroyed Leona and was out to conquer the world.
However, as it turns out, Antignarot is more than just deranged - he's nuts. His obsession with conquering the world, while no one understands it, completely possesses him. He's willing to take out anyone and anything in his way, including the heroes, but not even he seems to realize why...

Seeing Atolla (a giant, talking kitty cat, in his eyes), he decides to risk life and limb for whatever the magic kitty wants. To the distress of the other heroes.

Wind Dragons are a human-friendly variety that live in a forest called Inshire. The entire race is under a peculiar curse forcing them to always speak the truth. Most are pacifists, but Puff, upon learning the world is threatened by Antignarot, vows to stop the evil wizard at all costs. He's somewhat brash, which causes him some unwelcome troubles.
