by their size and shape. They average 4 to 41/2 feet tall and have ruddy
cheeks, dark eyes, and dark hair. Dwarves generally live for about 350
years. They are a cunning race of sturdy work ers and are very resistance
to magic and poison. Dwarves are good at dodging attacks of larger opponents.
They have infravision that allows them to see heat emanation from up to
60' in the dark. Dwarves can choose to be a Cleric, Fighter, Thief, Fighter/T
hief or Fighter/Cleric. Elves tend to be somewhat shorter
and slimmer than normal humans. Their features are finely chiseled and
delicate, and they speak in melodic tones. They are very quick and strong,
and can live up to 1200 years. They are nearly immune to sleep and charm
spells and are very good at finding hidden objects. Elves receive bonuses
when attacking with swords and bows. Elves also have infravision which
allows them to see 60' feet in the dark. They cannot be raised from the
dead. Elves can choose to be a Cleric, Fighter, Mage, Thief, Ranger, Fighter/Mage,
Fighter/Thief, Mage/Thief and Fighter/Mage/Thief. The only specialist
Wizards that Elves can be are Diviner and Enchanter. Gnomes are shorter and slimmer than
Dwarves. Most have dark tan or brown skin and white hair. Gnomes can live
about 350 years and are very resistant to magic. Gnomes are very adept
at the school of Illusion. Gnomes can choose to be a Cleric, Fighter,
Thief, Fighter/Thief, Fighter/Cleric, Cleric/Theif, Fighter/Illusionist,
Cleric/Illusionist, or Thief/Illustionist. Half-elves are very similar in apperance
to their Elven parents. The average Half-Elf is about 5'6" and 150
pounds. They live about 160 years. They retain some of the Elven traits
of being immune to sleep and charm spells as well as being good at finding
hidden objects. They also have infravision that allows them to see 60'
in the dark. Half-Elves has a huge selection of classes. They can be a
Cleric, Fighter, Mage, Thief, Bard, Fighter/Cleric, Fighter/Druid, Cleric/Ranger,
Fighter/Mage/Cleric, Cleric/Mage, Fighter/Mage, Fighter/Thief, Mage/Thief,
or Fighter/Mage/Thief. The specialist Wizards that Half-Elves can be are
Conjurer, Diviner, Enchanter and Transmuter. Halflings are short, generally plump
people, very much like small humans. A strange trait they have is that
their feet are covered with thick coarse hair, which is why they prefer
to not wear shoes. A Halfling can typically live about 150 years. Some
have infravision and all are very resistant to magic and posion. They
can be a Cleric, Fighter, Thief and Fighter/Thief. Humans are well... human. They don't
have any race limitations or bonuses. They can be a Cleric, Fighter, Ranger,
Paladin, Mage, Specialist Wizard or Thief. Humans also have the option
of becoming dual-class characters. |
