St.Peter answers the pearly gates, and there stands 10 New Yorkers. Now, as this is quite an unusual occurence, Peter goes to God, who is in a meeting with Jesus, to clear addmittance with him. Trying to improve his status as being "all-forgiving", God tells Peter to allow them in. So he returns to tell them the news. A few minutes later, he is seen stomping through heaven, shaking his head and muttering "l can't believe they took them".... Gabriel stops him and asks incredoulsly "They let the New Yorkers in??".. to which Peter responds "no, the New Yorkers took the Pearly gates!"
