Book 2 Katriena

Katriena is the mother of Ampathena and widow of Jet River. In the world of Kashel,
humans and elves are not peaceful to each other due to the humans enslaving
the elven race. In her younger years,
Katriena met Jet River and fell in love with the human. Due to Katriena and Jet wanting to be
together, which is a taboo, she had to leave her beloved forest. After the humans in a nearby town killed
her love, she toke their child to the only safe place she knew, her wood elf
village. The only way her family would
let her child stay in the village was Katriena would have to become the druid
high priestess. Afraid that no one
would accept her child (Ampathena) Katriena
tries to protect her from the people around them and yet still fulfill her
