Book 1 Ampathena |

Ampathena is a half-elven Ranger who is a product of a broken home in
the world of Kashal. Her father Jet River, who was human, died
when she was only one year old, was killed by a mob of elf hate mongers. Ampathena’s mother (Katriena) ran to her wood elf village with the
young child to save her child from death by the mob. However, when they got to her home village
Ampathena received the same hostility from her mother’s people as the mob
that killed her father. Now that she
is no longer a child, she protects the forests around the wood elf village
from slavers. Ampathena chose the life of solitude and became a Ranger
because she did not feel she would fit in with the wood elves or the
