QUESTION
Syntax: question <message
These commands send messages through communication channels to other players.
You can use the CHANNELS command to hear, or not hear, any of these channels.
Following is a description of each, and the proper etiquette for their use.
The QUESTION and ANSWER channels are interlinked and also can be seen by any
interested player. They are reserved for requests, and responses to these
requests, for information on game mechanics and/or the world. You should
try to remain in character when using these channels, but we appreciate that
the nature of some questions may make this impossible.
QUICKEN
Syntax: cast quicken <character
These spells magically speed up the target character's reaction times and
reflexes, permitting an extra attack during each round of combat. Characters
affected by these spells also strike at the beginning of each combat round.
QUIT
Syntax: quit
Some objects, such as keys and objects of higher level than you, may not be
saved.
QUIT leaves the game. You may QUIT anywhere, although there is an experience
penalty for quitting outside of Midgaard. When you re-enter the game you will
be back in the same room.
QUIT automatically does a SAVE, so you can safely leave the game with just one
command. Nevertheless it's a good idea to SAVE before QUIT. If you get into
the habit of using QUIT without SAVE, and then you play some other mud that
doesn't save before quitting, you're going to regret it.
