Star 1:Big Bob-omb on the summit
From where you begin the course, cross the two bridges
and head up the mountain. Watch out for bowling balls. At the top
of the monuntain, talk to the Big Bob-bomb. After yelling at you,
he will start walking towards you so he can pick you up. If
he picks you up, hope he doesn't throw you off the mountain.
If he does, go back up and try again. To beat him, run around
behind him, pick him up and throw him. Do this three times.

Star 2: Footrace with Koopa the Quick
(Requirement: Star 1)
When you jump into the course, you will see a big Koopa Troopa.
He is Koopa the Quick. Talk to him and he will challenge you to a race.
Accept. Run all the way back up to the top of the mountain and
you'll beat him by a mile (even though he takes a shortcut).

Star 3: Shoot to the Island in the Sky
(Requirement: Star 1)
Talk to the pink Bob-omb Buddy at the beginning of the course.
He will open up all 5 cannons for you. Use the one farthest up the path
on the mountain. Aim for the red coin on top of the tree.
If you catch the tree press Z to let go. Look for a yellow "!" block.
Inside is the star.

Star 4: Find the 8 Red Coins
(Requirement: Star 1)
The first 3 coins are close to the beginning of the course.
They are: on top of Chain Chomp's stake, above the elevator, and
on one of the hills near the cannon. Then, head for the meadow.
There are 2 red coins just sitting there waiting for you.
Then check underneath the bridge leading to the meadow.
Collect the red coin, the 1-up, and step on the purple switch to open the bars.
The last coin is on the floating island. After the star appears,
Head back to the meadow and collect the star.

Star 5: Mario Wings to the Sky
(Requirements: Star 1, Wing Cap)
Make your way to the floating island (see Star 3). Smash the red
block to get the Wing Cap. Jump into the cannon, aim directly for the center coin in the ring and fire!
Don't steer Mario at all as he flies through the five coin rings and triggers the star.
Go back down to the meadow to collect your prize.

Star 6: Behind Chain Chomp's Gate
You've got to know where CC is by now (across the first bridge,
just in case you don't). Butt stomp the stake 3 tines to release Chomp.
He will smash the gate that is keeping you from the star.
Walk in and get it!

Star 7: Look to the Sky For 100 Coins
(Requirements: Star 1, Wing Cap)
There are 45 coins in the coin rings off the floating isle (see Star 5).
Collect those first and head down. Besides the many
yellow coins, there are 8 red coins (16 coins) and 1 blue coin (5 coins).
Here's a tip for finding yellow coins: If you run around the 4 stakes in the meadow
in tight circles, 5 coins will pop out of each!
The star appears above your head when you collect the 100th coin.
