Fill my hearts with joy & read what I have to say!!!
Concentrate
...is based on several loops: a drum loop sampled from the recent PITCHSHIFTER-Album, a NAPALM DEATH-blastbeat, a MEATHOOK SEED-loop, and a bassline sampled from the very first FLEISCHMANN-album; my flat-mate Jan (ex-INSTANT BOOZE) will sing a few lines (which means that the song is not at all finished yet); he sounds a bit like Eddie Vedder (interesting combination or what!?); anyway, I like the song (what did you expect!?!); itīs back to the early roots of DUS DIVA, eg. chaos and cheap shock effects; be prepared...
- Song without chorus
...is a song with a high chartability, so to speak; itīs a really cool song actually, and the amazing sound quality still makes me wonder (I love it!); the drumsounds/loops were mainly sampled from the last PITCHSHIFTER-Album; the song deals with my fear of life`s normality, if it were; actually, I am already just like the people that I hate and despise; I can`t stand those ignorants who don`t seem to appreciate my genius (MAMA!)...
- Who is who holds the key (Que?)
...is welcomed by the infamous "We are the Mods!"-battlecry known from the movie Quadrophenia; very psychedelic vocals; something like "Fear Factory meet The Beatles", I guess; the song deals with the youth of today, and since I will most probably become a teacher ("...in times full of uncertainty...") I really worry about our future; just rembember your own youth and then look at the situation today; now try to imagine that these kids will have to run our country someday: OH, MY gOD!!!
- Unpunk
...cheesy type of punk-o-rama; I really think that the whole concept of punk is a pile of shit; I don`t have to be a punk to say "go, fuck yourselves!"...
- Popwhore
...is just like POpgOD and PopWHAT? driven by the unique loop-combination of the clean "Smells like teen spirit" (Nirvana)-guitar and the "Welcome to the pleasuredome" (Frankie Goes To Hollywood)-sequencer; I think that I would be an excellent whore, since I have quite a number of whorish tendencies...
- POpgOD
- ...well, this song deals with the question whether gOD equals POP, if you know what I mean (!?!?); it`s a matter of mathematics, I guess...
- I`m a mutation
...contains a number of loops by the likes of Buzzard, Billy Holiday, Pitchshifter, and Duke Ellington; the content of the song is quite obscure, and I really cannot explain it in two sentences; find out for yourselves (and tell me about it)...
- Ten Years Away
...is powered by a smooth Buzzard-loop and deals with my alter ego (well, rather my real ego), winging about the happiness of youth and the difficulties that go with age and all the responsibilities I didn`t have in those better years...
- Time To Go
...is packed with a number of Star Wars-samples featuring Han Solo and Darth Vader; the story is quite vague; it`s something about a fictional incident that happened to me "...in the backyard of my auntie`s house..."; find out for yourselves (and tell me about it)...
Soon you will also find some more additional information about all the songs, eg. themes, background, etc.
I will work on it!
