Doug is having problems with his annual Super Bowl party because his work friends all want to go to Barry, the loading dock guy's party instead. Lou, Doug and Carrie's neighbor, asks Carrie how her day was every time he sees her walking home. Carrie is upset with Doug because he won't take the time to ask her how her day was, and he's making it seem like he doesn't care about her. Deacon is still bitter about his divorce from Kelly.
