Joey is dating a girl named Katie who likes to punch him every time she talks to him. Ross has a crazy mood swing after he sees Monica and Chandler kissing. Chandler freaks out when everyone talks marriage and children, which leads to him and Monica having a fight. Chandler doesn't know what to do so he tries to propose to Monica as an apology. Phoebe and Ross go to a party for the apartment handyman even though Ross didn't want to. No one in Ross's apartment building likes him because they think he is a stingy jerk.
