Phoebe finds a badge in a chair at Central Perk and it turns out to be a local NYPD police officer's badge. She goes around flashing the badge for a little while until she runs into the officer who owns the badge. Joey thinks he is in love with Monica after he has a dream about doing a crossword puzzle with her. Chandler, Monica, and Rachel tell him that it is most likely that he just wants a relationship with as much closeness as Monica and Chandler's. Joey hits on Rachel and she tells him to find some girls and make friends rather than hitting on her. Ross buys a couch and has a problem getting it to his apartment. Rachel, Ross, and Chandler cannot even get it up the stairs.
