08/99 WXCV-FM Citrus 95 Crystal River, Florida Program Director/Morning Show Host
Began as afternoon drive personality.
After one month, promoted to morning show personality and program director. In the time I
worked there, raised more than two thousand dollars for American Cancer Society by shaving
my head at a Citrus 95 event. Did several publicity stunts to help other community events,
i.e., gave blood on air during morning show, etc. Creative differences led to dissolution
of working relationship. No aircheck available for this time period because station did
not provide aircheck machine and could not get reception from within building with a
portable stereo.
1997 WA1A-FM Melbourne, Florida
Part-time Radio Announcer
Part-time announcer with some
voiceover work on the side for a large telecommunications company. No chance to advance at
this company, so took a break from radio for a year and a half.
1996-1997 Transient Personality OR,

On-Air Personality Worked in a few small-market radio
stations doing afternoon drive, evenings, overnights.

News Director/Morning Show Co-Host
Part-time announcer. Filled in during
morning show doing newscast. Offered full-time position as news director for three radio
stations. Also co-hosted morning show on WFRG. Other duties included production, live
broadcasts and fill in for absent personalities.
1992-1993 WUUU-FM Rome, New York
Part-Time Personality
- Worked as a part-time announcer. Interested in
becoming full-time, however, nothing available for duration of employment with company.
Offered part-time job at WFRG with assurances there would be more chance for advancement.
While at WUUU wrote and produced several morning show bits and parody songs, did light
production and helped out on live broadcasts.

Activities |
Shaved head to
raise money for the American Cancer Society in Inverness, FL (raised more than two
thousand dollars. Promised to wear pink tutu on another occasion if goal of two thousand
dollars was reached. Gave blood on the morning show and invited listeners to join me. Very
successful, according to the Citrus Community Blood Bank in Lecanto, FL.
