Where, oh, where do I begin! There's so much to say, so I'll just get right to it.
- The Push Stars' latest album, Opening Time is out and sounds absolutely fabulous! The fine folks at the Push Stars' Headquarters weren't expecting the huge demand for the CD, so if you've ordered it and haven't gotten it yet, please be patient! It'll come your way soon. You can also pick it up at any Push Stars' show, or several retail locations. You can also listen to six of the tracks on the Jukebox now.
- The Push Stars have once again been nominated for two Boston Music Awards! They're up for Rock Band of the Year and Chris Trapper has been nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year. Congratulations and GOOD LUCK!
- The CD release party for Opening Time is tonight in Somerville, MA at the Somerville Theater. Join the Push Stars and hundreds of fans for what should be an awesome show!
- The Push Stars will have the song "Meltaway" featured on yet another Farelly Brother's film. The film is called "Say It Isn't So" and stars Heather Graham and Chris Klein. Check it out in theaters on March 16th!
That's all for now. Check back soon for tour dates and more news!

News as of 02/01/01...
A new album, a new tour, remodeling, and more!
It seems that the period of time between updates is becoming shorter (last time it took me 10 months to update the site; this time it's only been 6 months), so don't fear! Regular updates are not a total dream.
Anywho, due to personal drama, my life has done a complete 180, which means that my work with The Push Stars (and work on CC) will be on the rise. I think I said this last time, but CC will be undergoing some major remodeling within the next month or so. Already the photos page is starting to get a facelift. I've made the main photo page more user friendly, with less pictures to sift through and more of a choice of what you'd like to see first. This is just the beginning of the revamping, though. I plan to add several more new pictures and make the pages even more user-friendly with menus, etc. to make the viewers' experience better (how thoughtful, no? :) ). For now, all I can say is that you should definitely browse through the photos in the Fall 2000 Tour page. My dear friend Emily in Ohio took some amazing photographs of the guys when she saw them in Buffalo and Rochester last September. Even Chris was impressed when he saw them!
Other things to look for in the next month or so are some new sections. There will be an interviews section, and a new addition: The PushStars' Jukebox! That's all I'm going to say about it for now, but rest assured, it will be a fun experience for everyone.
Onto PushStars' News...
The Push Stars had an absolutely amazing tour last fall, thanks in part to the rapidly growing Rep Program. With the help of these extremely dedicated fans, the guys had their most successful tour ever! Through word of mouth and other forms of heavy promotion, the crowds at the shows were bigger, bringing in plenty of new fans. The rep program is a vital part of The Push Stars' success and has proven that when people get together to do something, a difference can be made! To become a rep, check out the Lori for more details. We especially need a lot of new West Coast reps (this includes AZ, CO, NM, etc.), so please sign up! If you have more questions about what can be done on the West Coast to promote the guys, email me or Lori. I've been recently appointed West Coast Rep Coordinator (oh no.....POWER! hahaha...), so I will be more than happy to answer anyone's questions!
Now that I'm off of that soapbox, we'll continue with the news.

NEW ALBUM ON FEBRUARY 6th!!!
- As many of you already know, The Push Stars' new album, Opening Time will be available on February 6th. Some of the folks back East have already had the chance to purchase the CD at the shows (lucky devils), and apparently it's an incredible album. Look for the songs "Waiting, Watching, Wishing" and "Millionaire" on mp3.com - they're amazing!
- The boys also just kicked off their first tour of 2001 on the East Coast. They're playing a lot of the new songs and plenty of old standards, so be sure to go see them when they're in your area! Tour info, as always, is on the main site, and will soon be included on Crosstown Cafe.
- "Drunk Is Better Than Dead" is one of the songs featured on the soundtrack to the hit series, Malcom in the Middle, and
- "Any Little Town" is featured on the Stop Handgun Violence CD that was released in November of last year. Be sure to pick it up!
That's about all I have time for now. But that's all right, because you'll be seeing a lot more of me on here soon, so you'll get plenty of new info. Don't forget to buy the new CD, Opening Time on February 6th, and REQUEST THAT THE PUSHSTARS BE PLAYED ON YOUR LOCAL RADIO STATIONS!!!
Take care everyone!
