Splendid e-zine and Pitchforkmedia are probably the 2 best online music ‘zines right now. Consistently updated with lots of good reviews and news. Please check them out.

I don’t know what I’m going to do about the reviews section on this webpage. I may just get rid of them. It’s hard for me to stay updated. But we’ll see. Stay tuned for more as that goes. Oh yeah, I may do the same for the sounds. I’m not sure anybody listens to them anyway.

Join Decapolis and talk on the message boards. It’s fun and I’ve met lots of cool people on there. Good fellowship with other like-minded people.

Mar. 21-Sorry that I haven't been updating this as much as I should have. I've had a lot on my mind lately. Don't freak out, its not a huge deal; I've just been asking God a lot of questions lately. I'm really trying to seek him and figure out what the heck he has planned for my life.

Mar. 8-Just got done with my last test before spring break. Man, it sure does feel good to have it over with for a while.

If you have never heard Mineral, then you are missing out. Their album "The Power of Failing" has probably done more for my relationship with Christ more than any other album ever has. The music is phenomenal, and the lyrics--well I can't even begin to describe them. Please check them out. I have 2 mp3s of theirs on my sound page. Please listen to "Slower"....it is my favorite song of all time.

Mar. 1-Just took my Geology lab midterm. It went really well! I am happy about that, so that is why the page is being updated. I don't feel like studying anymore right now.

Feb. 29-Found some new really good mp3 sites. This one has full live shows of bands like Pedro the Lion, Archers of Loaf, Joan of Arc, Modest Mouse, Built to Spill, and a bunch more. This one also has a bunch of shows from bands like Get Up Kids and Fugazi.

Feb. 28-I went up to Lubbock this weekend to see Allison. I had a really good weekend. It was really nice to take a break. I also got to see my parents, which was nice.

I have 3 tests this week, so don't expect a lot of updates...but I will try if I have time.

Feb. 21-Well, first off I just wanted to say that God is awesome. If anyone has any questions regarding God, Jesus, the so-called Christian faith or whatever....feel free to ask me. I promise a reply and I will do my best to answer any questions.

Feb. 16-Let's see...hmm...I don't know a whole lot more than I did 3 days ago, but I am trying to keep this updated....so here is my vain attempt.

I got a flyer for Cornerstone today. I am pumped. I hope I can go. I don't know if its going to work out this summer though.

My friend Clifton and I are putting on a Huntingtons show here on next Tues. I hope the show goes well, cause if not we are going to be broke. But oh well, we are willing to take a risk.

Feb. 13-Alright, I know I need to update more. I am just really lazy and somewhat busy as of late. But I will try to add some more stuff as time allows. Right now though I will give everyone a news update on my life (as exciting as it is):

These last couple of weeks have been crazy. I got a drumset, bleached out my hair, and started "talking" to this girl that I absolutely adore. So life is really good for me right now. God has been doing some awesome things in my life. Its amazing how he's been working through my friends and I. He truly is faithful to us, especially when we are faithful to him. Praise God.

Jan 21.-OK. Scratch the part on the last entry about school being ok. School is GREAT! I have the coolest music class. We learned about theremin today. I love it. Anyway, I just got done with that so I'm kinda pumped about it.

I saw Pop Unknown play last night. I will try to post a show review of it as soon as possible.

Jan. 19-School seems to be going ok. I know someone in all of my classes (which is really weird) and I think my music class is going to be really cool. My assignments consist mainly of listening to music, which I'm really going to enjoy.

I added a thought today. I'm trying to stay up-to-date on that, but we shall see.

I should know the radio info. any day. It's actually kind of scaring me that I don't already know about our show, but oh well. I'll post the day and time as soon as I know it.

As far as music news goes, I don't know much. The new Kid Dynamite record comes out at the end of February. You can order it beginning Feb 1. from Jade Tree. Also, the new Pedro the Lion record comes out in March. You can also preorder that one beginning Feb. 14. Look for Pedro to tour after the release.

Jan. 18-Well, school started back up for me. I went to my first class for all of 10 minutes. You gotta love it when you get up early just for the professor to hand you the syllabus then leave. Oh well.

I added a thought and 2 reviews today. Hopefully I will continue to add more each this week; it looks like I'll be able to.
