FRÖLUNDA TORG, GOTHENBURG; SWEDEN, FEBRUARY 14, 1999
Me and my sister Mimmi FINALLY arrived at Frölunda Torg around 3 pm, so we tried to find a good place to stand to see Billy.
It took a while, then a guy from Power Hit Radio came up on stage and talked a little, where the signing stuff would be and all that.
Then Billy came up on stage. Both Mimmi and I thought he actually looked good. Whoa!! =o)
He started to sing a song - I don't know which one it was - and it was followed by "Urgently In Love" and an other song, then "Mary Lopez".
He was great!! But Mimmi didn't like him very much; she've always disliked him. Don't know why...?
Anyways, after his performance (click here to see the pics), we ran to a place next to the stage to buy CD's and get them signed.
It was really crowded and people everywhere started to stand on my feet - and it hurt. And it was hot, crowdy and it was hard to breathe sometimes.
Then some d*mn kids on the upper floor started to spit at us!!
Luckily for me, I didn't get hit! =o)
It took about 15-20 minutes, then Mimmi and I were on the stage to get his autograph.
I bought the album, and 2 singles, one to my friend Linda and one to my cousin Lina, as a valentine gift (LOL!!) although I don't know if she likes him.
Then we got to Billy, he said "Hi!" and signed my CD. My sister told him to sign the singles ("Mary Lopez" singles only, by the way) to Linda & Lina, and so he did.
Then she asked him about Tommy Hilfiger (I hope y'all heard about that thing about Tommy at the Oprah Show), and Billy said that he even sponsered him!!!
Gosh...!!
Then we had to leave. Both Mimmi and I had a few problems to walk normal (LOL!) and our throats were dry, so we went to McDonalds to buy something to drink.
Then we went back to see Billy sign some more stuff, and I took some more photos 'til the film were over. =o(
Mimmi told me she wanted to leave, so we did.
Anyway, Billy was great on stage!! If y'all have a oppurtunity to see him, do so!!
