Shorts and I have been busy building content for houstonhiphop.com - woohoooo, so we apologize for the neglect. believe it or not HHH.com will be up within the next couple months (and no that doesnt mean summatime) haha. THANKYOU DERRICK YOU ARE THE SHIT. we are very sad to report that we will not be making our usual spring break stop in SF. Funds are running low for the both of us so we are staying in lovely tx to attend South by Southwest in austin instead. Ny was ill. Not enough time there tho at least not on my part ..smoothie was there two weeks so she saw the best of Ny....as for me...i had 2 and a half days to get as much stuff in as possible...and only gettin a toal of about 6 hours of sleep in two days!! DMC was dope. There were reports of needle mishaps and technical foul ups but arent there always. You would think a DJ competition wouldnt have those sorts of problems but who am I to say. Big ups to dj contakt for showing such hospitality to shorty and her sister. They would never have made it to the train station without you. Reviews and flicks will be up in the next few days Aug 10th In more breakin news. We have been in the works of a new site..HOUSTONHIPHOP.COM Hopefully the launch of it will be within a few months! Clsmoothie was in atl for the dmc a week and half ago but, due to her camera not working right she only got one pic at the dmc and then to top that off she cant find the roll of film that it was on!! Example opened up,performing a dope set!!Tony Touch was spinning dancehall and classic hiphop jams,Bboys were breaking on stage,and the crowd went nuts when Common busted on stage in a Bboy stance and started breaking!! Commons performance was off the hook, performing classic hits I used to love her, Resurrection , and Jams from his new album,The light and Sixth sense!!I gave it an A +!!
