Elvis Presley and Priscilla Beaulieu met in Bad Nauheim, Germany in1960 where Elvis was stationed in the Army. Elvis quickly became enamored with Priscilla's beauty, but when he left Germany, Priscilla was left behind. Elvis phoned Priscilla regularly, and in the summer of 1962, after two years, he finally convinced Priscilla's parents that their precious 16 year old would be safe in Hollywood for a visit, chaperoned by Vernon and Dee, Elvis' father and his wife. Elvis showed Priscilla around Hollywood . He bought her wild clothes and had her hair and makeup done to his liking daily by his hairdresser. Elvis' next goal was to convince Priscilla's parents to let her stay. Elvis promised Priscilla's parents that if Priscilla moved to the US, she would live with his parents and go to Catholic school. At first they flatly refused, Elvis worked on them for a while and they eventually gave in to a Christmas visit in 1962. She finally moved to Graceland in 1963. Priscilla went to school during the day and stayed up with Elvis all night. She got no sleep and moved into Elvis' house about a month after she moved to the US. Soon Elvis was filming movies, and Priscilla was left at home to go school. Now all the fun ended. Priscilla spent the long days going to school, and hanging out with Elvis' family and the people that worked at Graceland. In 1966, Elvis bought Priscilla a black horse named Domino as a Christmas present. This started a horse buying frenzy that culminated in the purchase of a large ranch in Mississippi, 14 miles from Graceland. On May 1st 1967, Elvis and Priscilla were married in Las Vegas, they had a short honeymoon in Palm Springs and another at their new ranch, The Circle G Ranch. There was a main house and a trailer. Elvis thought that it would be fun to live in the trailer on his honeymoon and asked the guy that lived there to trade houses with him for a while. Lisa Marie Presley was conceived in that trailer. Nine months later, on February 1st, 1968, Lisa Marie Presley was born. Elvis was ecstatic over the birth of his beautiful little girl. He spoiled her with lavish gifts, nothing was too good for the Kings little Princess. She had a fur coat, a pony, two houses with swimming pools, nannies, and almost anything that she asked for. Priscilla saw that Lisa was getting spoiled and tried to convince Elvis that a little girl shouldn't have anything her heart desired but Elvis was putty in Lisa's hand. But Elvis had to work and when he was gone, it was very hard on Lisa. She couldn't understand why Daddy wasn't home, and Priscilla took this valuable time to try to teach Lisa that there were chores to be done and toys to be earned. Priscilla was becoming disillusioned with her life. Elvis was never home. Priscilla began taking dance and karate lessons to pass the lonely times when Elvis was on the road or making movies. She soon became attracted to her karate instructor, Mike Stone. This was the crutch that Priscilla needed to leave Elvis. She told Elvis that she wanted a divorce. Elvis was devastated. Life for Lisa changed a bit. Elvis was already gone for many months of the year, but now when she visited Elvis, Priscilla wasn't there and Elvis could spoil her even more. Priscilla and Lisa moved out of Elvis' huge house in LA with the swimming pool, and playhouse, and into a small apartment. And now there was another man around the house. In August 1977, Lisa was visiting her father at Graceland. Elvis had played racquetball in his new court at Graceland and stayed up late singing with his friends as usual. Lisa had been up for a while when Ginger, Elvis' girlfriend made a frantic call downstairs for help. She had found Elvis lifeless in the bathroom. Many of the guys ran upstairs to help, but it was too late. Lisa saw the commotion and tried to get into the bathroom. They locked her out, she ran to the other door, where she was locked out again. The ambulance arrived, and she saw her dad taken out on a stretcher. Lisa was left behind at Graceland waiting for word about her very own King. Unsure of what was actually happening with her dad, Lisa at nine years old got on her golf cart, a recent present from her daddy. She rode around the grounds as she had done hundreds of times before. She waited for her mother to arrive. Priscilla comforted Lisa as best as she could, they grieved in private while the world grieved with them. After the funeral, Priscilla and Lisa returned to their Los Angeles home and Lisa went to camp as previously scheduled with Joe and Joan Esposito's daughters, Debbie and Cindy. When Priscilla, Joan and Lisa arrived at camp, Debbie and Cindy were already there from the previous session. They had a tearful reunion and left for a day in Solvang. Debbie and Cindy hadn't seen their family since the Elvis had died a week before. When camp ended, Lisa returned home and tried to go on with her life. Her schoolwork suffered and she missed her father very much. Lisa had started school at John Thomas Dye, and then Le Lycee Francais, a prominent French School in LA. Both are very academic. Bordering on having to repeat her current grade level, she transferred to The Westside Apple School, a Scientology based school with a more "learn at your own rate" attitude. Priscilla had become interested in Scientology after John Travolta told her about it. Lisa still didn't do well in school and began to hang around with a bad crowd. By the time Lisa was 14, she was taking drugs, and completely rebelling against her mother. Her father had always been the nice guy and now that he was gone, Lisa was resenting her mother's strict rules even more. Lisa wasn't particularly fond of any of Priscilla's boyfriends no matter how hard they tried to win her over, she resented them taking her fathers place, even if they weren't trying to. Priscilla was going on with her life, going out frequently and travelling. Lisa turned her interest to boys, starting her first real relationship with Scott Rollins , who she had met on the set of Priscilla's up coming movie. He was much older than Lisa, but Priscilla couldn't say much since she had started seeing Elvis at 14. Priscilla could see that the relationship was heading for disaster, and tried her best to stop it, by sending Lisa to boarding school. This just made the wall between her and Lisa thicker. The final straw in Lisa and Scott's relationship was when Lisa found out that Scott allegedly was paid to take Lisa to a park to be photographed for a tabloid magazine, without her knowledge. Lisa soon turned to Scientology to help combat her drug addiction and hopefully make some new friends. She moved into the Scientology Celebrity Center in Hollywood. Lisa soon met Danny Keough, her future husband. Lisa pursued Danny, who had another girlfriend at the time. It wasn't long before they got together. The prospect of losing Graceland became apparent, when Priscilla took over Lisa's trust. There was no cash and upkeep was quickly eating up the reserves. RCA owned the rights to Elvis' publishing and there wasn't much money coming in. The future looked grim. Priscilla made the heart wrenching decision to open Graceland to the public. She had to look out for the future of her daughter and she couldn't bear the thought of losing Graceland. The success has been greater than anyone could have expected. Elvis Presley Enterprises is now estimated at a value of over a half a billion dollars. Lisa had a regular job, and had gotten her life together. She had even made a commercial with her mother for Oldsmobile. She was learning about her estate and what it takes to keep it running. Danny and Lisa were very much in love and in 1988, Lisa told her mother that she was pregnant. Danny and Lisa were married in a small ceremony at the Celebrity Center. Danny and Lisa were very happy and went on a three month Honeymoon on a Scientology Yacht. Soon after, in May 1989, their baby girl, Danielle was born. Four years later they had a son, Benjamin. Lisa filed for divorce in 1994, stating irreconcilable differences. Rumors started about Lisa dating Michael Jackson. They were soon substantiated and the wedding was soon playing on televisions around the world. They were married in the Dominican Republic, in May 1994. Lisa and Michael even appeared on Primetime Live in a 1 hour special. She traveled around the world with Michael and her children and looked happier than ever. Lisa appeared in public and rumors started about a singing career for Lisa, but Lisa and Michael divorced in 1996. Lisa and Danny were then rumored to be back together, but that was also short lived, they remain close friends. Lisa has done some modeling for Gianni Versace, Cartier Jewelry, and Gap Jeans, appeared on Janet Jackson's "Velvet Rope " Album, taken control of her estate, opened the new "Elvis Presley's Memphis" restaurant and nightclub as well as a few other projects. In August 1997, at the big "Elvis Week" celebration, Lisa surprised the world by appearing in a music video, singing with her father, the song "Don't Cry Daddy" produced by Davie Foster. The fans went wild, and she received a standing ovation. In June 1998, Lisa signed a record deal with Java Records, and Glen Ballard, and plans to record soon. Lisa is fighting an uphill battle because she doesn't have the opportunity to come up through the ranks, she will be instantly catapulted into the spotlight. Her voice has been described as "Sexy, smoky, and charismatic, just like her father" said David Foster.
