Averi made her way over to the bar and climbed up on a stool. The bartender made his way over to Averi.
"What can I get you?"
"Um, a screwdriver please."
"Coming right up."
The bartender fixed her drink and handed it to her.
"Thanks"
Averi looked around the room. She looked at all the people dancing. She then looked at all the couples sitting at the tables. One couple in particular stood out. They looked so much in love. They looked like they could never get sick of each other. She sighed.
That's what I want. I want to have someone that loves me as much as he loves her.
She looked around some more gently stirring her drink. Looking around the dance floor she spotted Blaire. She wasn't dancing with just one guy; she was dancing with three. Averi laughed. She was amazed that Blaire could attract so many guys at once when she couldn't even attract one.

Kevin watched as the girl gently stirred her drink.
Damn she's beautiful. He thought.
He watched as she looked around the room with a dreamy expression on her face. With a smile on it the whole time.
Kevin realized he had been standing in one place just string at her. He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned around. He turned to see AJ standing there
"Go talk to her man. She's beautiful." AJ encouraged. "Go!"
AJ slightly pushed him forward.
Kevin took a deep breath and made his way towards her. Many thoughts raced through his head.
What am I going to say to her? What if she doesn't like me?
He kept his eyes trained on her the whole time. He reached the bar and sat on the stool right next to her. He motioned for the bartender.
"A martini please?"
"Sure thing."
The bartender handed him his drink.
"Thanks" He said turning to the girl. "Looking for someone?" he asked.
"No not really" she said smiling still keeping her eyes on the dance floor.
"My name's Kevin" he said extending his hand for her to shake.
"Nice to meet you Kevin. My name's Averi." she said turning her head to look at Kevin.
Kevin noticed how beautiful her blue eyes were. She extended her hand to shake his.
