The Couch

I do remember the girls in school when I was around six, seven or eight, and I remember everybody making this fuss about a song called "Hound Dog" and all the older girls were flipping out about it. It was the first time I ever saw girls react like that to music. I don't know if I remember that it was a good thing or a bad thing, but I remember it. Later on, I remember, some of the first songs on the radio that really blew me away were by Ike and
Tina Turner, and Roy Orbison. That's when I started to get that fascination and feeling about music. Then, the next big thing was the Beatles, and that really did if for me. But all those early English bands were a big influence, too. -
