Okay so you are here now, like all our sites this one isn't going to have a really boring introduction, about us or Ragga Jungle, but we do have a history page, and we are working on a Ragga Junglist Bingy Men Page. This page is for jus for showing updates, and some important ragga jungle reletated news. And do check out all sections that we have spend a time and dedication on. Sorry for the lack of updates over the last few weeks, and thanx to all those who sent in e-mails about tings and problesm they are all now fixed:). The updates will be coming soon, both of the webmasters are very bsy, we are working on big t'ings inna de studio. So watch out!!
Due to amount of e-mails, links requests, tunes we receive we have once agian changed De Main Yard e-mail address to ragga_jungle_yard@hotmail.com. This will enable us to deal with your mails faster, that is beacuse we have 2 OJs on the case. However if you would prefer to e-mail privatley the peeps who work here than you still can.

New Web-Site
As many of you have complained about the avderts and crap free space, and told us to get a better deal for ourselfs and more web etc. Well guess what? We have done excatly that. But we are not moving yet. However we will be uploading tunes and mixes there for the time being. We are just not moving, we are having a complete site redesign, with frames and possibly shoockwave. We will have Real Server so can have congestion free listen's and much much more. As there will hardly be any adverts for the new site, we are asking you to fill it up with some. We only take ragga jungle avderts though. If you are interested for future projects e-mail us. Forms to tell us what you will to see in the new site and for avdertising will be coming up soon, in the meanwhile post at the usaul address.

Okay now me and natty are getting annoyed wih this now "where can I get my ragga jungle records from?" well try our sister site De Soundmurderer which is a part of Dub-plate pressure, the U.S's #1 shop for used vinyl. Drum'nBass Arena Voting for Ragga Jungle Now
Risky from the drum'n'bass arena has set-up a poll " which kind of d'n'b would you like to see more of?", so what are you waiting for click here http://www.breakbeat.co.uk There is a sign of Hope Ragga is second:-) 24%, 4% behind jazz:(. This just goes to show how much the raga stylee has been missed, com'on ppl the jazz t'ing went out 2 years ago, but there is still a good amount of it:). This should get some big boys producing more ragga. Gwaan, give our self a boost. And remember "we have one goal, to Takeover the drum'n'bass world" quote from a Chicago Ragga Jungle DJ:)
Beenie de Ganja Man
Beenie Man along with other musicians were
arrested in Virginia Beach, VA
for ganja possession. They have since been bailed out and
as far as we
know have continued on with their tour.
Buju iz ah Merderah
Buju Banton was recently questioned by Jamaican
police regarding a shooting
that left 6 people dead. The shooting was supposedly over a video
camera
and film that was stolen from Buju's studio. Buju has
denied any
involvement in the shootings and is scheduled to appear in Reggae
Summer
Splash '99 in Hartford, CT (July 31).
STEVIE HYPER D's Album gets delayed agian!!
This is just ridiculous, Stevie's ablum was supposed to be coming out in January, then his Death anniversary, and it gets delayed agian, at the moment at is in stock at Juno. But other than that the normal shops haven't got it. Comon' island the Album was completed long ago, and how could you release it after Peshays Album?
Buju Banton a dead man?
Those of you who may have heard rumours that one of the pioneers of new skool ragga, and one of the hardest of hardcore ragga DJ's(toaster) around was shot dead, Let me tell you something he is alive, he spoke on Chris Goldfingers BBC Radio 1 Reggae Dancehall Show on the 10 of July. So we can expect many more champion albums to come from this brother for many years to come.
STEVIE HYPER D's 1st Anniversy of his death 05 July!
Yes it is that sad time of the year agian, so many terrible happenings. This is the anniversey of Stevie Hyper Ds tragic Death of bloodclot heart attack. He was given a the Knowledge Drum'n'Bass Award for outstanding contribution, his mother collected his awards, and shouted his infamous catchpharse "junglist are you ready". And also to mark this occasion his long awaited debut ablum was supposed to be realsed on the tragic day, but again it was been delayed. The album is called The Next Step, it is featuring Different Levels who run the production side of t'ings. "This album would have surley made Stevie a star outisde of d'n'b". Check out the reviews. Dennis Brown Died on 1st of July.
He died in Kingston hospital, at the age 42, if the name isn't very familar to you maybe it will be, when I tell you had Simply Red did a cover version of his "Ghetto Girl" tune. Anyway you aught to check out any major pure reggae site for more details, and many of his Albums alongside some new ones have been re-released, maybe Congo Natty will pay some sort of tribute. (R.I.P)
A Nu London Ragga Jungle Label
A new Ragga Jungle Label from London is going to be set up, soon, a dub-plates come to the yard first!!! The label to begin with will conisit of the talents of Producer/Sound Engineer/DJ/MC Breaker Jay yep, he is the one who run's the Brockout Page, and is also one f the MCs of the infamous London Flame Kru. Breaker is also very expericened in the feild of Sound Engineering, he works at Studio in Whitechapel, East London, there he does lots of garage work. Some True Junglist. I think I'e given too much away here, more to come when the label is set up, it will mainly be featuring New Skool 2-step jungle inspired by the Orignal Ragga-Jungle days.
Congo Natty
Congo Natty have a new sub label called PEACE and another one called Black starliner. You can also check out other congo news in the new releases section. The Congo Natty Posse will also be visitng the second home of Ragga Jungle, Toronto. For more details check out the Bashment Section.
