The night finally came, Friday June 19,1998. I went to see Stevie at the Camden E-Center (Philadelphia area) last night. I had my ticket for weeks and the night finally came. I went with three other friends ,all Stevie fans. I have been a Stevie fan since the late 70's, every time she came to town, with Fleetwood Mac or alone, I was there. For some reason this night felt different, SPECIAL. I was a little bored with Boz, I came to see Stevie. Finally it was time for Stevie. She opened with OUTSIDE THE RAIN, I was in heaven. She sounded fantastic. She looked fantastic. She puts me in a state of mind I just can't explain. The other people with me were talking to me and I wasn't hearing them. I was in my own Stevie world. GOLD DUST WOMEN, one of my favorites, was excellent. Also RHIANNON. LANDSLIDE sounded better without Fleetwood Mac. Stevie just has her own special way. ENCHANTING.

I felt like I was the only person there and Stevie was just singing to me alone. She played all the right songs, at the right time. Just me and Stevie. I only have one regret that she didn't play SARA. My daughter is named for this song. I was sorry to see the night end with HAS ANYONE EVER WRITTEN ANYTHING FOR YOU, a very deep song. I didn't want to leave. When we got to the car the local radio station was doing an hour with Stevie, songs and interview, so I had Stevie all the way home. I went to sleep with Stevie in my dreams listening to the ENCHANTED CD.

This was a night I will never forget spent with Stevie and friends. I hope she rocks forever.

(CONCERT STORIES)It was my first time seeing stevie live and I was so excited!! My boyfriend and I waited in line for two hours to get the seats-26th row center was the best that we could get. I was very envious of the fans that got closer, but stevie put on such a terrific show that I still felt that I had most certainly got my money's worth.

The moon was almost full-deer creek music center is outside- and it was kind of chilly. There were beautiful clouds scattered across the dark sky. Stevie came out on the rose curtained stage with the stained glass back drop and said "welcome everyone...on this almost wintery night" (somehing very close to that). The weather really set the stage for an awesome preformance of our priestess.

She began with Outside the Rain and keep us on our feet and spellbound until she finished with a misty-eyed Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You.

SHe kept repeating the phrase "I want you to remember me" and there was no chance that we will!!

CONCERT STORIES

Boz Scaggs went on at 8:01, and the next hour until Stevie came on seemed to take forever.

The crowd went absolutely crazy when Stevie came on stage. She opened with Outside the Rain and immediately went into Dreams.

At first she sounded really raspy and the guitars were very loud. Enchanted came next, and by then Stevie's voice had settled in. Everyone in the audience was ecstatic when Stevie then performed Gold Dust Woman (wearing a different shawl by now!). Gold and Braid (one of my personal favorites) was next and it sounded fabulous! That was followed with Stop Draggin My Heart Around. After that, all the performers lined up close to the front of the stage and performed a trilogy of songs Stevie had written about getting rich and famous- After the Glitter Fades, Garbo and Rose Garden. They were all done acoustically and sounded beautiful. The next song was Sleeping Angel.

After that, Stevie left the stage for a few minutes and came back for an electrifying performance of Stand Back. It was unbelievable! Everyone was singing and people were dancing in the aisles. After Stand Back, Stevie did Rhiannon and A Whole Lotta Trouble. Landslide followed and was just beautiful. Twisted was after that and it sounded great too! There were very cool lighting effects that looked like a tornado.

The concert closed with a long an energetic performance of the Edge of Seventeen. The crowd went crazy once again. As the guitars kept playing, Stevie made her way to the edge of the stage, shaking hands and accepting flowers and gifts. Someone had made her a crown with flowers and ribbons which she graciously wore. The security guard that was with her held her by her waist at first, and then never let her more than six inches away from him. After she finished the song, she thanked us all and complimented New York and then left the stage.

She came back out and performed I Need to Know and Has Anyone Ever Written Anything for You. And then it was over:(

All in all, it was an amazing experience. She sounded fabulous, looked beautiful and seemed really sweet and sincere. I feel so bad its over! So-- that's my story. The show was awesome!!!!!!

It ended too quickly. It seemed like she just walked out on stage....and then she was gone...just like the white winged dove.

She told stories about her songs and was so appreciative to the fact that she was so loved. The song set was the same, but she made you feel like it was the first time she had ever sang any of them. The raw emotion in her is incredible. She interacted with everyone....yet making you feel like you were the only one she was speaking too.

I walked away with such a feeling of peace and admiration. She said she wanted to pack all of us up in a plane and take us with her, but since she couldn't do that, then for us to take care and be safe because she wanted to do this again, because it's what she does. This woman is to be commended for staying the person that she has always been and for being true to herself and her fans.

She'll be back...and I CAN'T WAIT!

Well, it was raining and chilly and the ride out to Boston took 2 hours, but it was all well worth it. My seats were not exceptional, but they were good enough for me. I was quite high up, but I had a clear view of the stage and the sound was excellent. I was very pleased that she played Outside the Rain first, since that is a lovely song, and that it bled right into Dreams as it always has.

I didn't sit down for the first 6 songs, because I was so busy dancing, but I did sit down for the "acoustic-electric" set, as Stevie labeled it. What was amazing to me was how I was so far away, yet the atmosphere was so much more personal than any other concert I had ever been to. I felt as if I were right up there if I closed my eyes. The man sitting next to me let me borrow his binoculars for a few minutes (during Garbo and Twisted), and I really was amazed at what I saw. Stevie looked so alert and healthy. She seemed to be thoroughly enjoying herself, and that is all I want for her: to be happy.

Also, she looked as wonderful as she sounded. I mean, she went beyond the hair and the clothes. She had a glow to her that I haven't ever seen her have, and she has the most beautiful smile. I hope I can do it again someday, only with better seating.

I was crazy enough to get tickets to 2 of the shows on Stevie's tour. I live in Philadelphia and naturally, being the fan that I am got tickets to the Camden show. I was close enough to see the expressions on her face, and for anyone who hasn't seen her yet she truely is enjoying this tour. The only thing that upset me is when a girl tried to pull her off stage when Stevie was shaking hands with the audience and then later jumped up on stage! Stevie was visably scared.

Her voice was incrediable and enchanting. She ended with "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You" and told the audience to remember her and stay healthy so we could do this again.

Well, I enjoyed that show so much that I had to go to another one. The closest one was in Manassas, Va. So, a friend of mine who I converted to a Stevie fan after taking her to see Stevie drove to Va. for the day to see Stevie again. Once again she was mesmorizing and I thouroughly enjoyed myself. The flow of the songs and the way in which the transition was so smooth was impressive. I especially enjoyed the "acoustic/electric" part of the concert it was almost like sitting there in a huge living room with Stevie. She was much more playful and at ease with the Manassas audience and told us how she didn't want to do Fleetwood Mac songs on this tour but her manager called her and said "Put the Fleetwood Mac songs back in!" So she did. "I can't wait" for Woodstock where she will also be performing. Don Henley will also be there so maybe they'll do "Leather and Lace"! Nicole Johnson

I was fortunate enough to see Stevie Nicks at the Coral Sky theater in WPB Florida on the forth of July. The performance was one of her best ones. I have seen her with Fleetwood Mac & Solo approxiametly 13 times. She really appeared to be very comfortable with her set & the audience.

The hightlights were Landslide, Stand back & I need to know. She also did an accoustic set of her own personal Favorites. In comparison to the other concerts of her that I have seen- Same # of costume/cape changes, more powerful vocals, and what appears to be a much happier soul.

ROCK-ON STEVIE!

My husband and I drove 7 hours from our town in Arkansas to see Stevie in Nashville. Nashville seems to be a tough town to win because they are so saturated with music and I truly think some people there take it for granted. Stevie was in rare form as she belted out song after song. Even though she must have been exhausted, she gave everything she had to make Nashville love her.

From the beginning, it was obvious that Stevie was somewhat nervous because it was one of her grandfather's dreams that she play Nashville. I appreciate her candor exposing moments in her life. It seems to me that over the years she has learned that her fans truly love her and maybe that makes it easier for her to express herself from a more personal point. Stevie brought a beautiful aura to the outdoor venue and I feel very lucky to have been graced with her presence. I am very thankful that Mindy had the strength to continue the show in spite of a back sprain the previous day!!

Bless Stevie and the wonderful musicians that accompany her.

(CONCERT STORIES)

I will not forget this night...dare my Wild Heart! The night was finally here, July 11, 1998, which would turn out to be both the happiest and saddest day of my life. We arrived at Sandstone Amphitheatre at 6:00 p.m. that night, and I was way psyched~ after all, I'd been waiting 72 days for this!! I was decked out in full Stevie (top hat, rhinestone necklace, black spaghetti-strap tank top, a long, black chiffon skirt, my shawl, black fishnets, legwarmers and my platform boots), so you could see I was excited! As we were waiting in line in our cars to get in the gates, we noticed that the car in front of us was also from Minnesota, like us, so we went to talk to the driver, a woman named Kathy. Turns out, her boyfriend, J.R., was a security guard, and he may be able to get me backstage! Just as we were moving up, the car behind us hit us! I was SO pissed, as was my dad. Everything was okay, but we were delayed 30 minutes getting in.

Once we finally got in, we were in line in front of a girl named Rhiannon & her mom, Tawnya. We were talking with them and I was getting many, many compliments on my attire. One guy even said, "Look! Stevie Nicks! Look at her boots!" We got in and I was buying my "Blue Lamp" t-shirt & tourbook when I heard Tawnya calling for me. I went over to her, and she & Rhiannon were talking to a DJ they knew from a radio station, KCFX, and her name was Lauren. I had won The Ultimate Stevie Fan/Lookalike Contest, and I hadn't even entered!!! My seats were upgraded to 5th row (initially my seats were 37th rown, ick) and I couldn't believe it! I started crying and had my picture taken with Lauren. It should be up on KCFX's web page (www.kcfx.com) soon. I went to my seats and I managed somehow to sit through Boz Scaggs's set. He was very good, especially his backup singer Lisa something. But he did too many slow songs, such as "Look What You've Done To Me" and "Sierra". Then, Stevie's beautiful pink curtains emerged and her brother, Chris, read the definition of "enchanted". The time was here!!!! I would see my Angel!!!!!!

Then, "Outside The Rain" started and my Angel alighted onstage like the Rhiannon from Stevie Nicks shows past, in a black sparkly skirt and bustier, and her red platform boots <-- my favorites! She also changed shawls 5 times during the show. We saw the black one with white dots from the "Tusk" era, a long black coat with red roses, a black fringed one, one similar to her "Blue Lamp" shawl, and of course the white one for "Edge Of Seventeen". I was in my glory!!!! The part where she goes, "No one can take my place" was changed to "No one can take the place of me, baby!" Then she went right into "Dreams", which was excellent...she was in perfect voice and I was almost in tears, but I told myself, "It's too early to cry..." Then she talked to us a bit and jumped into "Enchanted", which ROCKED! I was the only one singing it that I could tell. Then, "Gold Dust Woman", and we were lucky enough to get some twirls and "the yell" at the end (Go hoooooooooooome). She kept on the gold shawl for "Gold & Braid", during which she playfully held up her hair. The part "In a dream I said to you that I'd always love you" was said, "In a dream I said to you, BABY!!" She was very talkative and friendly, and next came her acoustic set.

"After The Glitter Fades" was never a favorite until after I heard Stevie do it live and saw how much she liked it, and "Garbo" was absolutely fabulous! We even got the yell on "Marleeeeeena". She said something about how this was written after the "Buckingham/Nicks" photo shoot, which she didn't like, and one man yelled "OH, YES YOU DID!" Stevie just laughed and said, "Need I say more?" Then was "Rose Garden", which she called "You Never Promised Me A Rose Garden". This song is very prophetic and a bit scary. Stevie explained, "My overdramatic 17-year-old heart wrote this, knowing something big would happen, but that it wouldn't be easy". Then, one of my favorites, "Sleeping Angel"! The usual beginning of it, "Take me if you need me/But never hold me down/You're asking me to trust you/Well there's little of that around" was varied to "Take me Sleeping Angel/But never hold me down/I'm asking you to trust me/Well there's little of that around". I started crying and now I can't listen to that song without crying anymore. Then the strobe lights for "Stand Back" started and I literally threw my dad out of our row. We were escorted down to the front of the stage by a bouncer, and I watched the rest of the concert from 3 feet in front of Stevie's mic!!!!! I was singing every song, and I know that she & Sharon (Stevie calls her "My Sharona, Miss Sharon Celani...") saw me. She even smiled at my hat :-)

At the end of "Stand Back"...STEVIE DID ONE OF HER KICKS!!!! Yaaaaaaay! I could never do that on platform boots, nope! Then she did "Rhiannon", a BIG favorite of mine & a crowd singalong. She had her eyes closed during this and was in her own world. It was beautiful! The, "Whole Lotta Trouble"! Yaaay! This is one of my Hairdrying Trilogy Of Songs (I listen to "Whole Lotta Trouble", "Rooms On Fire" & "I Can't Wait") and I was totally into this, and Stevie saw that! My favorite line is, "When I want something, I get it!"

Then she did "Landslide", another crowd singalong which made me cry. I was one person away from getting it dedicated to me, dammit :-) Next was "Twisted", which was a lot different from the "Enchanted" version, but FABULOUS anyway. This was followed by an emotional "Edge Of Seventeen". I was bawling since I knew she'd be shaking hands soon! I couldn't reach her, and she saw this, so she swayed her grey satin coat over my way and I held that for 2 seconds. I was absolutely hysterical! I looked at Sharon and she gave me a sympathetic look. I was screaming, "Stevie, please!! Stevie, don't leave me! STEVIE!!" Then I danced a bit to "I Need To Know", which I love, but I was too distraught to do much. She closed with "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You" and I was just a MESS. I knew she was leaving me and I didn't want her to go.

She varied the end a bit: "And when they ask her about the men in her life~ and they are asking~ she says, 'Well, they were poets, and yet they were priests of nothing, but they were legends...' Poet, priest of nothing, legend, poet, priest of nothing, legend, poet, priest of...nothing". I had lost it. The men in white coats should have come to get me, I admit. She walked out of my sight just as quickly as she had entered, and she had left a little girl heartbroken. I turned around to see J.R. but he couldn't get me backstage. Oh fabulous, how much more agony can I take? I saw Lauren, Rhiannon & Tawnya and they all gave me hugs. Rhiannon was crying too, and Lauren asked me, "Honey are you okay?" I said no. She asked why and I just whispered through my tears, "She left me~ my Angel left me..." as I reached towards the stage. Absolutely a horrible sight. :-( On the way out, I bought the last "Enchanted" sweatshirt, a keychain, and a teddybear (which I named Stephanie and I taped a picture of her on its belly). When I got home, I put on my "Blue Lamp" t-shirt, put "Crystal" on repeat in my CD player, and just sat and CRIED for hours, I really don't know how long. All I know is that I missed her, and that if I looked up, I'd see her. I didn't want to look at her pictures right then (and there are 300+ in my room...LOL), so I stared at the floor and cried for what seemed like a "thousand days". It was the greatest night of my life, but it made me the most sad I had been for a very long time.

I Love You, Stevie...You're My Angel ~Love Rachel~ ~And to those that I love, like a ghost through a fog, and a charmed hour and a haunted song, and the Angel of my dreams~ *~*Stevie Is My Twirling Gypsy Angel*~*

I grew up listening to Stevie Nicks. I remember being ten years old and watching a concert of hers on MTV. I wanted to be just like her. Hoping one day I could see her in person. Well, it happen. On July 10 of this year I got tickets for the Nashville, TN show. I waited in line for hours for these tickets but it was well worth the wait. I had great seats. The concert was the best one that I have ever been to. Stevie was wonderful. I could not beleive I was there that close to her. The concert was great and I was happy with my seats but then they let the people come down to the stage. There I was right next to the woman that inspired me all those years.

For me the night could have not gotten any better but it did. During Edge of Seventeen she reach down and took my hand. At that one moment I felt that she knew how much that meant to me.You could tell Stevie was enjoying herself. Everyone should go and see her.

After all these years my dream came true. Thank you Stevie..

Okay, I'm 16 years old, so this was my first-ever Stevie show. I had been anticipating this night (June 12th) forever (so it seemed). All the radio stations were buzzing talking about her, talking to her- it was great. I got ready to go, and before I knew it, I was almost at Great Woods. We got there fairly early, and I got to see people in their Stevie-esque garb. I was thrilled just rolling into the parking lot. I was psyched. I ended up losing $75-I still don't know how-but my parents ended up getting my tour book, my t-shirt, and my keychain-I owe them for that one!

I went and sat down at my seat. As soon as I saw the stage, I was beaming-and I knew it, too. It was raining out a little bit, but that did not dampen anyone's spirits. I waited anxiously for Boz Scaggs to come out. When he did, I was getting even more excited because he was right before Stevie. He was terrific, to say the least. then there was a short intermission, and then it was dark out, and time for the Gold Dust Gypsy to grace the stage and enchant us with her voice.

The Boston crowd was incredible-extremely enthusiastic. Chris Nicks came out, and people went wild during and after the intro. I was already impressed. Then, SHE came out, looking absolutley radiant. I felt my knees begin to feel like Jell-O. I was on my feet for the entire show. You have to understand-I grew up with my family dancing me around the room to RUMOURS. That was when I was little. I was so happy that she was smiling and dancing. She lit up the stage, not to mention our lives. She did "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" with the enthusiasm of an eleven year old. When she began "Landslide," she was smiling, but at the end, she sobbed (I had seen her cry, but never sob). We all sang the next to last verse with her-"And if you see my reflection in the snow..." she said, "Hold it-stop EVERYTHING!" The crowd stopped singing, and thought something was wrong. She said, "That was BEAUTIF!UL!!! I definitely have to get a place here-you guys are terrific!" She finished the song with more dignity this time. She wiped her face, and went on with the show, with a cheering, supportive crowd on her side. When she began, "Edge of Seventeen," we went BONKERS! At the end, she brought a little girl up on stage, and danced with her, and sang to her softly. Then she kissed her in such a motherly way it brought tears to your eyes. She went back to the microphone and said, "I really hated to give her back-I really did." with a little girl-like smile. Then, after the encore, some fan waited until security wasn't looking and jumped on the stage and was yelling, "I love you Stevie!!!" The entire band blocked her and her guitarist pushed him down so that security could haul him away. Stevie, with class and dignity and happiness, smiled and said, "Make sure to be here next year-I love you all!" She left the stage, but not our hearts-she has left an imprint in my mind and memory that I can share with generations to come in my family.

I don't have many friends who share this love with me, but they all appreciate it, and that's good enough for me. Sure, the sound was AMAZING, and sure, I could have touched Stevie's hand, or something-but just having the memory of being there is good enough for me, not to mention being lucky enough to go to the Nashville show, but that is another story :)

I went to Woodstock to see Stevie on Friday, 8/14. I also saw her at Camden and Holmdel earlier in the tour, but Woodstock was definitely the best since I was standing front row center up against the barrier through thewhole concert. Actually I had been standing there all day (from 11:30am to 7:30) so I wouldn't lose that great spot.

I brought my 17 year old daughter with me who I recently turned onto Stevie and FM's music and she was also plastered up against the the fence all day.

Stevie was definitely the best!! She was in great form and really seemed to be having a great time. I won't go into the whole set since everyone already must have heard it a thousand times, but every song was great! She really rocked. She was really cute when it started to rain and was teasing the crew when they had to keep coming out an wipe off the stage. She seemed to be having a really great time and was definitely the crowd pleaser on Friday. She also looked gorgeous as usual!!

The highlight of my daughter's day was when Stevie walked across the stage at the end and waved to everyone (she couldn't shake hands becaubecause of the stage setup and barrier). She pointed to my daughter and gestured that she liked her hair. (She had it sticking up in a ponytail with somedaisies stuck in it).

All in all, it was a great day and I look forward to seeing Stevie in concert again very soon with or without FM.
